Nice deal, but there is really no point in getting the iPad Mini 3 over the 2, the only thing literally that you get different is a fingerprint sensor, and that's it. The two devices even weight the exact same.
The Air 2 has a faster processor and 2 gigs of RAM better than any other iPad.

My understanding is that apple honors warranty internationally regardless of place of purchase… Unless it was stolen of course.

I still think you are better off getting an iPad SEALED from Gumtree or Ebay (if you are lucky). Most of them offer PayPal with postage too….picked one last week.
