This makes no sense to me.
By the looks of it you get 'extra' reward points with this docket, and purchases you make at 9289 can go towards redeeming cash, bidding on items, etc. Not very descriptive so who knows how many you get.
I signed up and got a really pathetic extra 100 points that are essentially worthless (infact just for signing up I got 500 points - so 100 more is nuthin!). For eg cash $25.00 AUD would cost 27,500 Reward Points!! This is no bargain.

iReward was banned to post a 500 point free redeem here earlier. That 100 point is a campaign goes to 120k people later and it is as much the business can afford at this stage.
All these will add up. 500 points can be used for 5 sms, or could be really critical if you just miss that much to win the LCD TV. The value of these points depends, but they are valuable for members to spend.
It is easier to give people a "bargain" from heavily over priced item to a slight over priced one. Because you are so used to the RRP standard. However, it is a lot harder to work things out from nothing to add to your pocket.
iReward will work hard to provide features that you can enjoy in facebook at the same time making some little income. Everything needs to start from something. It is understandable that you do not consider it a bargain. However, it could be an important 100 point for some.
You do not need to be positive about this 100 point, but I would also like you to consider not to be negative about it. Consider if your 100 points are taken away from your account, how would you feel? Why do you have to block others from getting the 100 point? And the 500 points offer was blocked, otherwise you have had 600. And there will be more to come.
Hopefully iReward will be able to provide better features that can be appreciated by the users in the near future. You may try to understand more about it and provide your feedback in the system over there.
