Seems they have continued their "off" discounts, I grabbed ANOTHER of the Acer E5 with the I5 processor. Came down to $509 with "big90", not bad for a 5th gen I5 with the HD5500 graphics. Has 1 4GB module, has 2 slots so I upgraded to 8GB ($45 from MSY). You can also do clean Win8.1 install and get rid of the bloatware

  yeah cash back sweetens it …… paid for the i5 already and no cash back on 5th gen Intels :-(

    There is not that much difference in CPU performance between your i5 and that i7. You also have AC wireless card. For a lot of people 4GB Ram is plenty, if you can wait a year price should get below $40 for upgrade.
    I think you got a good deal with similar graphics power too.
