      Hate to point the finger, although I previously ordered 2 x 10400 from here and they differ slightly in design, and I believe one is fake - the pass through charging doesn't work on one, is missing the small logo inside the USB port (you have to look closely)… charges fine, and was cheap so never bothered to comment…

        Out of all the opened up and confirmations, some still refuse to believe that we do not sell fake products.
        Again, if you are ordering in large quantity, we recommend you to dismantle one of the Xiaomi power bank and check the circuit-board.
        It s the most trustworthy way to identify whether it's genuine or not.
        Judging by looking at its appearance does not give you a solid proof.
        Feel free to share your finding on Facebook, Twitter, etc. with Mushtato's name.

          I wasn't trying to insult, it's simply my experience. The two units superficially looked identical although that one didn't provide pass through charging was strange. That's when I did a thorough check and found one had the tell tale signs of a fake unit (usb internal colours, missing logo, lacked pass through charging, external logo texture differences etc). I apologise if I offended you, and for the sake of $25 I wasn't bothered to raise a dispute. Your service etc was fine, I simply think the supply chain/batches from China may not have the scrutiny/security that we all desire.

          39.95*4.8=around 192 RMB

          AU postage around 7 dollers, maybe on corporate level it can be reduced to 4-5 dollars?
          Labour&warehousing blah blah

          unless you guys contracted with outsourcing factory to get those products lower than 129, you guys wont make any profit.
          just my own guessing, dont take it seriously.

      For some technical reasons, PayPal does not show the price including GST.
      Once you process to final stage, it should show you the total value and GST amount.

      There will be energy loss during voltage conversion and charging process.
      Xiaomi suggests minimum actual capacity is 10000mAh.
      HTC One has a battery of 2300mAh.
      So 10000/2300 = minimum 4.3~4.4 times.

      Xiaomi chargers come with a short 10cm USB cable, but no charger.*

      *Based on my experience with a Xiaomi 5500.

      I've also found that fake Xiaomi chargers also come with a small USB cable.

      5000mAh power bank uses Li-po instead of Li-ion.
      It is much lighter and smaller compare to 5200mAh.

    You'll have to scratch off a coating on the sticker to reveal the code.
    I thought I could be cheap by using a 5 cent to scratch off the coating.
    Feeling a tad more generous, I rolled out the big ones with a 20 cent then the whopping gold $2.
    The coins didn't work and I ended up tearing parts of the code off along with some tears with it.
    Use something like the non sharp/cutting side of a pair of scissors or keys.

    Can confirm they're genuine after some tests.
