    Yum! My italian just arrived. The poor delivery guy looked like he was going to cry, he had dropped the bag with my food in it. It was all contained in a plastic bag and it was pasta so I took it and thanked him. He looked so relieved.

        DH needs to work on that. I guess their order sheets are not clear enough and the restaurants run into this mistake. Seems to happen too often.

          I think the restaurant gets notified straight away by DH after payment is approved. I'm guessing the restaurant is NOT reading the date properly and assuming the order is actually for tonight. I mean who orders delivery a day in advance??? :)

          Of course you would put an advance order in if you are catering. However you would be ordering way more than 2 pizzas/ curries.

      Same here although I don't know if anything is coming tomorrow night. I was caught off guard and am a bit awkward/anxious so I accepted the food thinking maybe I had made the mistake. Just checked my confirmation email and it was definitely pre-ordered for tomorrow.

      Just got off the phone with DH, they answered promptly and were polite but said I shouldn't have accepted the order. He took my order number and said he will contact the restaurant and get back to me and maybe will be able to issue me with a voucher.

      DH called me back. They said the restaurant accepted that it was their own mistake and not DH's and they agreed to do the order again tomorrow night. He said DH will call them at 5pm tomorrow to remind them and check that it is going ahead and to let DH know if it hasn't arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled delivery time.

      Really good response but I feel a bit guilty for mistakenly accepting the food

        I'm also a fan of natural foods as well… so any chef who tries to jazz something up with artificial crap…

        It doesn't matter where I live, there's alot of awful food places out there.

    My wife just phoned me to say the dinner I ordered for tomorrow was delivered today. Sigh. I'm 40 mins from my house, so I'll be eating microwaved dinner. :-(

    Just spoke to DH customer service line to let them know, and provide feedback so they can amend their system and make it more simple. My recommendation was to get all the "tomorrow" orders and bank them up, only releasing them at midnight tonight so there can't be confusion by the restaurants, and they're ready for the restaurant when they open tomorrow.

    if you're in Brisbane i would steer clear of Taj Mahal Indian in New Farm. I only ordered it because it had the cheapest delivery. I got a prawn curry, the prawn were so overcooked they were like rubber they still had the poo chutes attached, the curry was also full (as in the seemingly main ingredient) of tomato skins. Along with the shitty curry i bought a garlic nahn which had raw garlic chunks the size of a finger nail squashed into it.
