how long is shipping usually? I have a month before a trip and this would be handy for that

    • It generally takes 15-25 to reach Australia.

    Just sharing my experience..

Bought one of these (very similar) from a deal posted here. Quality was absolutely terrible. One female port produced very poor audio quality. You could only hear sound in one ear.

I've had problems before with these extremely cheap cables where the tip of the male plug snapped off inside the socket, rendering the extremely expensive equipment I'd plugged it into useless!\

      Beware cheap 3.5mm plugs!!

Cheap RCA plugs are OK because they won't destroy your equipment, but if the tip of a male 3.5mm plug lodges inside something, your laptop/iPod/tablet/mobile phone/surround sound decoder is now a paperweight! All because you saved a couple of dollars buying something decent.

    • well…that bad?? If any quality exist in the near future, we are very please to fix it. Do worry, mate!!

      • If I buy this cable from you and it breaks, will you fix my $350 surround sound receiver with a now broken headphone socket? Or just refund the US$0.53 cable? I don't think it any seller would fix the broken expensive part :D

I didn't buy anything from you and don't want anybody thinking you would sell anything bad quality. I just want people to know that sometimes cables can break, so be careful how you use them.

        • +1

Use tweezers to extract the dislodged tip

        • @greenie4242,

If the cable has some quality problem, first we wish to send you another cable and make a test before sending it to guarantee the quality. Also if you wish to get the fund it is ok too. "I didn't buy anything from you and don't want anybody thinking you would sell anything bad quality. I just want people to know that sometimes cables can break, so be careful how you use them" And your suggestion is very helpful!!

        • @wolfenator87:
How do you suggest getting tweezers 8mm into a 3.5mm wide hole? The tip is also wedged in by contact springs that now overlap the tip, so there's no way it'll fall out of its own accord. It can't even be drilled out because it turns.

        • +1

@greenie4242: That's a dillemma. Sounds like you have tried everything. I will need to be careful of cheap cables after reading your caveat.

Also bought one of this from ebay. Looks exactly the same and never worked for me. Seller sent me 2 replacements and still didn't work.

  • Where would you use the 2M+1F cable?

    • Have used before to 'macguyver' multiple devices in and out of sound desks/computers/stereos at concerts, parties and functions for recording and playback depending on situation with other adaptors

    • I was wondering this myself… perhaps it enables two sources to play through a single output simultaneously?

    • +1

If it's two two-pole males and one four-pole female then you'd want to use it to split headsets which have a single four-pole 3.5mm output.

    • A lot of headphones have integrated mics which function through the 1 connector (compatible with phones mainly).
This splitter allows you to use these with your PC as a headset (for Skype, gaming, whatever).

  • Hi Rep does the code work for anything else?

    • Sorry, the code only can be used in the two cables. If you want some special discout, Please PM me. I will try my best to satisfy you all need in the near future. Thanks for your support!

  • +1

Bought two of these last time and don't have any use for them. Dunno why, but I feel the need to buy more.

  • Does this actually work with the iphone headsets? Bought a few over ebay and none of them work.

  • +2

whats the quality like? bought a few from ebays (this style and the solid block one), both were terrible. had to play around to find the right spots and plugs kept coming undone (simply falling out).

    • Not sure that that's the same. The one in the OP splits a 4-pin into separate mic & headphones plugs, whereas the one you linked seems to just be a 4-pin split into dual 4-pin.

Edit: Actually, maybe I'm wrong about the one from the OP. Just assumed it was the same given the 1F to 2M cable is a mic/headphone splitter. Can't access the site atm to confirm…

      • Ok, so the one from the OP is definitely a mic/headphone splitter, so yeah, I think they're different.

  • +2

Anyone else getting errors from the site atm?

      • fixed,please try again

    • I'm also getting this error. Ozbargain'd?

      • Pretty sure OzBargainers don't cause files to be deleted breaking the entire site.

      • fixed,please try again. Thanks

    • @CarbonTwelve,

The problem fix, please try again. Sorry to bring you that inconvenience.

"unable to place the order' message I am getting. probably out of stock.

    • wow…I have made a test just now. The code is still working. I suggest you can try again as I can place order with my firefox or with another browser. Any problem just call me. Pleased to answer~

    • same here

      • @Registered3D

Do you mean you can't make the order? As I checked just now,the code still works and I can place order too, please try again.

  • Been looking for this for a while. Thanks OP!

    • My pleasure. As some OZbargainers PM me for this special sale. So I do it this time.haha ~`

  • +1

Rep: I ordered and got a Paypal receipt, but haven't had any email confirmation of the order. Are you able to check it? Will PM my email address if that's possible.

    • Sure, can you PM your order number and I can make a check and notify you

  • Just ordered (Female to dual male), received confirmation email straight away. Will review item and delivery process upon receipt. Have been looking for a cheap Y splitter in Brisbane / Melbourne for a while now, standard brick and mortar stores seem to stock male to dual females only.
Want to note that while free shipping is "15-25 days", faster alternatives with tracking were available for a price.

  • Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. :)
