        the purpose of the devices is the same and the way they work by clipping onto the vents is similar…

      I received it 2 days ago… it's works great and no need for magnets…

      retails for about $30 or 6500 Flybuys

        They also have the airframe+ for 9950 points (I have an iPhone 6+ so the smaller one won't suit) though that equates to about $50 which is a little high IMO

          Yeah, I should have researched more… That way I wouldn't need to upgrade it when I next upgrade my phone…

      Got one from the last sale and I'm surprised how well it works.
      I just slid one of the metal squares between my phone and it's case, and the phone just clips to the mount. Hasn't fallen or dropped yet, only downside is you can't adjust the angle much, as it's limited by your vent design.

          there is no clearance behind the phone for vertical tilt…

          @jv: if you put the logitech +trip through the vents the vents dont move up and down anymore plus the phone cannot be tilted up or down cause the top or bottom of the phone touches the car's dashboard(at least with my car)

    Does this come with a case ? Or how does it work? My iPhone 5 would it stick straight onto the back body of the phone (appears to be some brushed type of metal on the phone?)

      I just checked my 5S, and it's definitely not magnetic…

        … and that is because the shell is made of Aluminium, unlike Iron, Cobalt or Nickel, which are all magnetic metals.
