    Apparently I'm one of those trolls

    Here's a quote from their Multimedia Manager

    I don't think anyone wants butthurt's as customers. They're best avoided at all costs ;) this is just the natural filtering mechanism.

    77 pages of feedback on the company and others he owns. They're quite happy to claim they have phantom stock, accept orders and payment and then sit on the money for weeks.

        Hi there and thanks very much for your query.

        In case there are any OzBargainers who aren't already aware, I'm just giving some insight on how customers are treated by megabuy.

        First 2 links are quoting abusive posts here on Ozb by store reps.

        Second link is a WP thread with various examples of people experiencing what most would call underhanded business practices.

        I call it providing information, you call it trolling. Doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

          we previously had alot of issues with customer service. but since we "letgo" <MOD: employee> we have made alot of changes & fixed all the issues. our reviews are starting to reflect these changes.

          this old staff member then went ahead & started his own company <MOD: removed> & if you look at their reviews & other website reviews you will see all the same type of issues we had appearing there.

          Thankfully the issues went with the person.

          Now I'm not saying we don't have some reputation to fix. sure its a long road for recovery. But I find it unfair that you smash us every time we do a post. your personal feelings are what are leading you to the decision of the down vote nothing to do with the bargain & I think that is unfair & not what OZBargain is about.

          Thanks.

          <MOD: Please refrain from commenting about competitor, as per Store Rep Code of Conduct>

          @MegaBuy:

          Admittedly I haven't spent much time looking but I haven't seen these reviews that reflect changes in your companies. Perhaps you could provide some links?

          But I find it unfair that you smash us every time we do a post.

          Just providing an easy way for people to form their own opinion of the companies. You might like to balance these out with the positive reviews you refer to.

          your personal feelings are what are leading you to the decision of the down vote nothing to do with the bargain & I think that is unfair & not what OZBargain is about.

          Unless you're one of the X-Men and haven't declared your super powers you're really just guessing as to what my personal feelings are. Besides, I already have a wife who regularly tells me what I'm thinking and until she retires the position of mind reader is already filled.

          Please familiarise yourself with the voting guidelines. Major issues with a retailer is a perfectly acceptable reason to neg a deal on OzBargain and I've done my best to provide supporting information of why there are major issues with megabuy.

          @MegaBuy:

          I also had issues with your old customer service.

          Have yet to use you since but I think every business deserves a second chance.

          Thankfully the issues went with the person.

          Sorry, but are you claiming that ALL of the past issues detailed in years of poor reviews and countless posts on WP etc have been fixed by removing or replacing just one person?

          A fish rots from the head down.
