    It's not just the Xbox One release that's $18 it's also the Xbox 360 and PC version

    Maybe combine them all into the thread?.

    • -2

      Because I don't class the other 2 as deals esp the Pc version, maybe if they were $15

      • +4

        It's up to to the people to decide if it's a deal or not. In my option it is a deal. The Xbox 360 version is $29 at JB so this deal is cheaper than that and the PC version is $1 cheaper than what JB has their price at.

        • +3

          I'm people and I don't think it's a deal For pc or Xbox 360.

        • +4

          @holden93:

          OK so $10 cheaper than the other cheapest available price (Xbox 360 $29 at JB) is not a deal to you. Or you could go to Dick Smith and buy the Xbox 360 version for $50 on their clearance price. Every person to himself.

        • @hollykryten:not when you consider the same game but on the next gen console is the sale price Plus it's a terrible game.

        • +1

          @holden93:

          But what if a person doesn't have an Xbox One but have an Xbox 360. Are you going to make some people miss out on knowing about the $18 price just because you think it's not a deal. Not every body can afford to go out and buy the very latest gaming console every time it comes out. Give the poorer people a hand.

        • -2

          @hollykryten:

          Void argument, it's not a deal on any platform considering it failed hard and is a ghost town on AU servers.

          @Where's_That_Cake:

          Would you even pay $1 for it?. :P

        • -1

          @hollykryten: eeeeeehhh mebby ;)

        • @Where's_That_Cake: Don't know why you don't like it, the reviews on every review site are great
          https://www.google.com.au/#safe=off&q=titanfall+review

        • @TRENT86: it's a multiplayer game with no campaign mode and a sparse community.

        • @Where's_That_Cake: Fair enough, I know what that's like, I play black ops 2 on the Wii U and it takes ages sometimes to find games

        • The reviews on every review site are great

          You may be unaware, but EA threw a LOT of money at this one. Including bribing reviewers cough IGN cough to ensure it stood a chance against CoD. That way, it's hard to believe the reviewers for big titles like this. Your best source is asking some people who actually own the game, trusting the user review of Metacritic, or watching some Let's Plays on Youtube where the players keep going "Ugh, why is the campaign still just multiplayer online!?" (Hint: There are a lot of those)

          CoD on the Wii-U

          Ha. Good luck with that.

        • http://www.bestbuy.com/site/halo-5-guardians-xbox-one/944113…

          Halo 5 has a higher % rating with 10 reviews.

          And it doesn't even exist yet. So I wouldn't trust these sources.

        • @FrankMcFuzz: 10 reviews against 2500, those 10 are obviously enthusiastic Halo gamers lol

      Save your money and don't buy this game! There's a reason it's price has plummeted..

    XBOX
    PS4

    Battlefield 4 $18 since last week deal.

    Picked this up the other week for the Xbone. Awesome game, especially for $18.

    I think Microsoft wanted this game to be a flagship title, but they didn't sell as many copies as they hoped (nor did people by many xbones), so they've also bundled all the download content for free, which is nice unlike some other cheap games that require you to buy expensive DLC that's never on sale. (Battlefield 4).

    It's helpful to to remember that this is a multiplayer only title which may be part of the reason it didn't set the world on fire, nor could it really compete with the juggernaut that is Call of Duty.

    • I didnt know that!

      This doesnt have a single player campaign mode ?!?
      How cheap is that!

      Thanks for posting that info… I was ready to pull the trigger on it, and I plus votes to 'hollykryten' higher up the thread. I'm one of those MANY people that didnt consider the 'upgrade' to Xbox One worth it, and have happily stayed with the 360 with no regrets.

      Microsoft dropped the ball with the Xbox One, and sounds like they've stuffed up on Titan too.
      They really need to get better listening to the consumer, instead of just trying to cram rubbish (ie their 'new' desktop that everyone hated) down our throats.

      Sorry for the rant, but MS are really starting to annoy me big time.

      • I loved my 360. It broke 6 times and all 5 of my controllers stopped working entirely despite being cared for and not damaged. My Xbox Live subscription always ran out one month before I wanted to use it (Hard to find games to play online for all 12 months). I now need to use a knife to open the disc drive as the gears are broken.

        Here's what I'm building up to: I will never buy another Microsoft console again. Which is okay, because they don't seem to care about videogames anymore. I mean, look what they did with the single most beloved company from every 90s kid's childhood: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/kinect-sports-rivals

        Rest in peace Rareware.

  • I got this on origin free for a season pass. Not sure if it's still available

    • I don't remember EA ever giving away Titanfall on Origin for free. Sure there may have been a free to play for a weekend but the game was never given away for free.
