  • I always love buying sandwich from MYO. Good stuff!

Although this seems to be one time only per membership. Unless you are that desperate to create multiple accounts using different email addreses :)

    • After joining I get a voucher to be printed out with my name, email address, and nominated MYO location on it. The expiry is 08/12/2009.

I wonder if this means I can reuse it every day? It doesn't say the limit etc…

      • I've printed these kind of vouchers before multiple times, and used repeatedly. You should have no problem doing it, unless you go back to the same person at the till each time. Maybe different stores?

        • can you use it on multiple stores even if the nominated store is different in the voucher? This is not bad.. cheap lunch for next 2-3 weeks :)

          • @John: You can update your profile and change your store; then the coupon regenerates with the different store name :)

  • hey thanks for this deal sounds good.

  • I've attempted to sign up twice now and still haven't received a comfirmation email. Anyone else having issues?

    • takes a few hours or more to get the email.

      • Cheers, they were in the junk mail!

  • Found a neat trick with this deal.

In the confirmation email, follow the link to confirm and log in to the site. Click and download your voucher in a new tab to be printed later.

Once you have downloaded your voucher, go back to the MYO member profile page, go to the right hand side under "MY PROFILE" and change "My local MYO store" to a different location (another store you may visit). Press "Update my profile", refresh the page and then download your new voucher which can now be used at the different location.

EDIT: I have just realised even those who have already confirmed their membership can change their voucher to be used at another store. Simply visit http://myclub.myo.net.au/ and log in under "Existing Members" with your email and password, then follow the steps as outlined above.

  • Hi, I just bought one for lunch and was great! drinks in Victoria range from 2.20 to 4 dollars :)
Note that the roll or sandwich is only allowed to weigh around 350 grams when i did it.

    • How are you supposed to know how much your sandwich weighs when you're making it?

      • The sales assistant said you get used to it over time but i guessed lol and as long as you dont go ove the top with toppings it was quite easy to make a big sandwich and it felt healthy too! :)

      • yeah as long as its not overly filled (I usually try to close it.. if its difficult to close the bun then maybe Its over 350g).

  • just went the the one in Post office square in Brisbane.
the old woman + old man there told me "we just have to stop this". and they weighted my wrap and charged me $4.9. But mine is not big at all.
anyway, i paid and decided not going back in the future.

    • Hi Tartar,

I am very sorry that you had a negative experience with this offer and MYO.

As CEO of MYO, I personally phoned the Brisbane store to see what the reasoning was and they explained that the extra cost to you was because the weight exceeded the 'regular' sandwich weight.

You still saved the $7.30 on your sandwich!

I apologise if this wasn't made clearer to you at the store, and I hope that you will be back soon at MYO.

      Regards,

      Byron Smith, CEO of MYO

      • to be honest, I was intimidated by the staff in MYO Post Office square. I am sure I won't visit them again in the future.
But I have been told the staffs from the store in Mary St were great, so maybe I will be visiting them regularly.
Good luck with your business. Make sure your staff understand the purpose of marketing.
