  • Small Ideas is the best way for you and your children to have fun & save hundreds of dollars all year long, from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2015. I thought we are in May/2015.

    • true :)
The vouchers were valid from Jan, so if you purchase now you will have 8 remaining months to utilise.
The next edition will run from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2016.
Any questions feel free to give me a buzz :)

    • So..should be about $13 for 8 months.

      • +2

8 months is ample time to get the benefit. For e.g.; one voucher is 2 for the price of one admission at Medibank Icehouse, which is a saving of $26.
The book is printed in Melbourne and the price includes shipping.

no the next edition will be released aprox Dec 2015.
I only became aware of this forum now, however, the book has been selling since December 2014 at $29.95.

    • Oh my, nice find.

    • How do you mean. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a buzz.

      • I dont have questions and it's pretty obvious what I mean. This is a generic coupon you use, that likely has no expiry. To say it's "exclusive" for this site is a load of bull

      • +1

Your claim of Ozbargain voucher is not true since this discount is going on your FB page since few days. So don't bullshit a bullshitter.

    • You bulshitted it.

You are referring to a 3 day Facebook and Instagram Flash Sale that expired. I just learned of this forum and decided to offer a sale here, given not everyone may have seen the social media sale. And yes you are correct re the coupon code in the back end is a generic code that i switch on and off and was first used on 26 May as the first sale through social media and now this is the second sale through ozbargain. I didn't think i used the word 'exclusive' however, perhaps i implied that and if so, i'm sorry for that as i am learning along the way and appreciate all the comments, even negative ones will particularly help me to move forward.

    • you wrongly accused the op of bullshitting.
Your link says 3 day sale in April. The op explained it is not always active. The op did not imply exclusive but you assert they did. But your attack on the op was grand. And wrong. Mud sticks so be right when you attack so confidently

      • From the deal title:

Small Ideas 2015 Family Voucher Book (VIC). Normally $29.95 but for OzBargain Subscribers $20

There, I've even bolded the part that implies exclusivity. Apparently it seems it's hard to miss.

And here you go, 8hrs ago on their Facebook:

sale is still active for the next 20 buyers

        • The bolded bit in no way states exclusivity, nor implies it. It just says ozbargainers dont have to pay the normal price . But you confidently accused the op of dishonesty

        • @grasstown:

If there was no exclusivity meant by the title, every post on here could have the same wording.

If exclusivity was not suggested by that statement, mods would've/should've changed the title to:
Small Ideas 2015 Family Voucher Book (VIC) $20 (Normally $29.95) With Free Delivery

So I'm sure that even the mods thought it was Ozbargain exclusive.

        • @Spackbace: unlike 'every' post on here, the offer was offered to a limited audience/ on limited sites

        • @grasstown:

          sites

          Thanks for acknowledging :)

        • @Spackbace: yes sites , it never was exclusive. But you insist on repeating it did

  • Is this the Funde Booklet? http://www.funde.com.au/

Edit: Seems to be more participants for the OP's booklet.

    • Hi Lukian

Although many day care centres and primary schools are using the Small Ideas book as a fundraiser it is not its sole purpose. It is also sold through stocklists around Melbourne, mobile pop up shops (ad hoc basis) and directly via website. We have had a couple 'kid friendly' bloggers do write ups on it as it provides parents, especially newbies with many ideas/cafes that are kid friendly in the form of a coupon.
Although some participants are in the Funde book, the offers in the Small Ideas book are varied and not just 2 for 1 offers. For e.g.; Fitstyler are offering 1 FREE month for mums n bubs fitness boot camp when enrolling for 3 months. Salts of the Earth are offering 1 FREE week, when enrolling at a management plan.

Feel free to peruse the website and give us a buzz or email with any specific questions.

      Cheers,
      Belinda.

  • @Spackbace @grasstown I appreciate all the comments and have taken on board the feedback so perhaps this was not the right avenue to use. My intention was never to be dishonest but rather give the book more exposure and offer a discounted price than RRP. I am just a mum trying to create something special for other parents to hopefully use and save some money but based on the feedback above this is not of interest to you, or I have not done it in the correct way so therefore i respectfully withdraw it. Anyone who purchases the book using this coupon code will be contacted with option of refund as it will take 24 hours for me to deactivate the code.

Think some of you guys were very harsh on the OP. She isn't some big retailer trying to pull a swifty. A bit more tolerance of the little guy (gal in this case) perhaps.
