I got one on the $14 deal, its a nice fan for the price but is quite noisy (whines at a higher tone).
Did yours come with instructions on how to dissasemble and clean the blades on the inside? i have a sunbeam one and the manual only mentions that to clean it you only have to use a brush…
Nothing super useful in the manual (unless I've lost something) but there's a mention to disassemble it for cleaning and a drawing of the three main parts exploded. Should be fine but might become a pain if it needed to be done too often. I guess I'll see when it happens.

These fans don't seem to blow as much air as pedestal fans, but they take up less room…
Damn, pay $20 for these a few months ago at Masters. Mind you Masters are pretty disorganised about Click and Collect. Got a message to pickup, rock up and no body know where the order are.
I was talking with the C&C supervisor girl the other day at Masters Keysborough VIC. They are not fond of online orders, cos it goes through a different processing channel (from the head office). If you wish to obtain a refund/exchange, it also means you gotta deal with the head office 1300 number first. Pain in the a. But for 5% discount it okei. I'd still C&C.
same story with a number of other stores such as Myer.
Cashier told me it takes 3-10days for c&c to be ready, where on their website you can select the day you wanna pick up.
And they can't just give u the item when its not ready.
Verrry annoying.

Shows full price for the $11 Pedestal Fan as well with Cairns store selected. Appears you can get around this by getting it on their eBay listing but this tower fan isn't listed.

I ordered the tower fan and also a pedestal fan with remote but no word yet that they are ready for collection.
I just checked my account and it says order being processed.
Last time I ordered from Masters the item was ready for pickup the same day I ordered - it was a different store for pickup though so not sure if that makes a difference.
It's been that price for a while now.
