    edit: faster delivery maybe?

    • +3

Just like a month in delivery.

      • +1

yep - I got my last order next day

    • +1

I got the one from the last deal today, what was that about 3 weeks? (It is a genuine one)

How to identify a fake: https://www.techmesto.com/identify-fake-xiaomi-power-bank/

      • Mine arrived today too.

Deal was posted on April 21st, so just a day over 2 weeks.

    • +1

Thanks unintended88! Bought one with a coupon i had on my BG account and got it delivered for $13.20, arrived in 1week! And its charged my iphone for 4days so far!

  • -5

So you're guaranteeing these are genuine? Who pays for return post if they're not, or if they're dead on arrival?

    • +1

Sure they do. The one I got was genuine - no trouble verifying the code on the official website.

      • My code rubbed out along with the top silver barrier. Rendering it useless to me.

        • All parcels are sent with bubble envelope with protection.
However, once we hand it over to AusPost driver, it is out of our control.
They are sent via AusPost eParcel with online tracking and signature on delivery.

For those interested find out more about mushtato, this was our last deal of the same power bank

  • Rep, your competitor is pushing I believe the same for $20.97 see below - where would you buy? :-)

Can't comapre if they're the same power bank
      https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/what-are-the-best-externa…
especially if you're selling from local, all price included GST and fast local shipping and after sale services :)

      • Hi Rep.. Any deals for MI band?…it still shows the $29 :( I dont want to compare the price with Banggood, since their delivery time is too long ( > 4 Weeks )…

    • +19

I'd buy locally since the price difference is quite small. Much faster shipping, no currency conversion fees, and if it's faulty, I can return it.

      • +1

Thanks for supporting local business :-)

        • Hi Rep.. Any deals for MI band?…it still shows the $29 :( I dont want to compare the price with Banggood, since their delivery time is too long ( > 4 Weeks )…

    • +2

For $5 difference I would buy local to support locally established business and warranty. Return will be much easier

      • +1
Mushtato are good, with both service and product.
Remember, if something does go wrong, you will have an Aussie store to help you.

Banggood/ Buyincoins/ Meritline etc etc are also great places to buy stuff from…
but do not expect help if product eventually arrives not as good as expected.

  • +2

Any upcoming deals for 16000 MAH? Thanks

  • is banggood really slow in delivery? hmmm almost $5 difference, and more colours at BG

    • Banggood…Worst… my frnd is waiting from 3rd week of March

    • +5

Really slow. So slow I even forgot I ordered it.

      • +2

        It's good it's so slow.

It feels like you won a prize or got it for free because it's been so long since you paid for it!

    • +1

3-4 weeks on average. I usually forget I ordered things from there and remember a couple of weeks later when it arrives and I open the package.

    • 1 month delivery from banggood

  • +3

    Any 5000mAh Ultra-Thin 9.9mm specials?

    • +2

There should be a new promotion on the Xiaomi 5000Ah power bank next week or the week after.
We will put it together with some other Xiaomi products along with bulk purchase rate.

    +1 for mushtato
Much faster delivery with proper tracking as opposed to other stores. Also quick and easy customer service. I had a faulty unit and exchanged it with no problems :)

    • Thank you for supporting Mushtato.
We will keep improving our products and services to bring Aussie more good deals they deserve :)

  • +4

    Yep Banggood seems notoriously slooooooooow

  • when it outputs at 2A, how does it work with phones that normally use chargers that output at 750ma ? serious question.

    • +4

A vast oversimplification: Amps are pulled not pushed, so too many amps is not a problem, and the phone will charge at the same rate or slightly faster with no real risk of damage.

      • +2

Good explanation! And in the same vein Voltage can be seen as being pushed not pulled - that is why connect 12V charger to 5V device (phone) might burn out phone circuitry.

    • +1

Current is drawn by the attached (consuming) device so everything works OK in this case - there would be a problem if phone demanded 2A and charger delivered 750mA in that case charger circuitry might burn out (in the worst case scenario).

      • +1

Good circuitry in both the charger and charging device (e.g. phone) should ensure this doesn't happen. I can't think of anything recent (like past 10 years) that would cause a charger to burn out. It simply charges at a slower rate.

        • Yes, that is why I said "the worst case scenario".

    • +1

The amp rating of a battery pack just tells you the maximum that can be drawn from the circuits that are in it. If your phone only draws 750mA, the phone will limit it to that amount.

The pack doesn't force 2A onto your phone :)

    • -1

when it outputs at 2A, how does it work with phones that normally use chargers that output at 750ma ? serious question.

Same as when you fill your car at the service station, some cars can fill a lot faster than others and this is controlled by the car not the pump which can deliver fuel at any rate between 0l/min and it's maximum litres/minute.

This will output UP to 2A, this is dependent on the device being charged and the quality of the cable. Some will charge at 500mAh, others at 1A etc.

      • How does a car control the flow rate of a petrol pump???

        • -1

How does a car control the flow rate of a petrol pump???

The design of the fuel system (some cars can be filled a lot faster than others)
The temperature at the time of filling
How much fuel is in the tank (the volume of fuel it can take generally decreases as the tank fills)
          etc

        • @Maverick-au:

the volume of fuel it can take generally decreases as the tank fills

          Well … that's a given, isn't it? :)

        • @Maverick-au:

Temperature is not a factor controlled by the car. The amount of tank capacity remaining does not control the flow rate, just the volume remaining to be filled?

The design of the fuel system (inlet size, breather port size) may impact on the capacity of the nozzle to deliver fuel at the pumps design rate due to the auto-shutoff being activated where fuel is entering the tank more slowly than it is exiting the pump nozzle, but generally the fuel pumps and car fuel systems are designed such that the pump can deliver fuel at the maximum rate until such time as the tank is full and the auto-shutoff is activated.

Hi-Flow diesel is not compatible with many diesel fuel filling systems, and in these cases the car is not controlling the flow rate of the pump.

I'm not sure the analogy for fuel filling can be applied to battery charging - the rate is constrained by the battery chemistry and charging control circuit which regulates the input to a safe level.

The current available is also limited by the length of the charging cable used (shorter is better).

        • -1

          @klownz:
Temperature is a factor that is controlled by the car by it's design.
The amount of tank capacity remaining does control the flow rate as it slows down as the tank is filled.
There are plenty of cars around that cannot take fuel at anywhere near the full flow rate of modern pumps because of poor design and other factors however most pumps are of the slower older type.
What auto shut off are you talking about? You can't lock triggers on anymore as we're apparantly too stupid to handle something that is common everywhere else in the world.

Battery charging is also constrained by temperature, how full the battery is, internal charger design (rapid charging for example like the Nexus 6) and so forth.

        • -1

          It doesn't.
          It is an electric car.
          Was this a trick question?

        • @Maverick-au: My understanding is that the return inlet on the bottom of the nozzle simply sucks air in via the venturi effect. When the fuel level is high enough that it blocks air from being sucked into the return inlet, the pressure builds and triggers a mechanism that prevents fuel from flowing into your tank (and probably all over the side of your car, and potentially you).

Are you saying there is some kind of additional flow rate control that the car can manipulate?

      • Thanks for the elaboration, especially nowadays, smartphone or tablet has build-in IC, which determinate the charging speed (how much input it takes at the level of battery status)

    • +1

Here's yet another example. The mains power coming into your home is capable of supplying around 80A, based on the main circuit breaker. A TV uses around 0.5A, yet it doesn't blow - because it only takes what it needs, just like a phone and a 2A charger.

    • The Powerbank is merely a storage unit that can supply 2A max.

The power management IC in your phone governs the charging rate.

  • Rep, no combo deal with the 16000? :(

  • Hello, does anyone know if these will work on bluetooth headphones?

Sorry for the noob question. Haven't had much luck with information online.

    • They'll work with anything that can be charged with a normal USB charger.

      • Not necessarily - if the device to be charged has a really low charging current, it won't charge with this. This (and possibly other) Xiaomi products require a minimum draw to recognise that something is plugged into them.

I can't remember what it is, but I've got something that doesn't charge with my 10400mah charger - might be my Bluedio headphones.

        • Good point! I'll try charge my Bluetooth earphones and see if that works.

  • Just got one, cheers for all the positive comments

    • Thank you for supporting Aussie business :)

  • Rep, is the lightning cable original? Reason I ask is because I bought a few aftermarket ones from eBay but they all stopped working after an update.

    • +1

Yes, the Lightning cable we are selling is genuine product from Apple. It will continuously working for any Apple official update.

    • +1

Not a rep - but have bought the 16000 sized battery with lightning cable. For me it came with original.

  • I received the last item in two weeks from Banggood, waiting for the deal on 16000mah

  • Any deals on the 16000mah ones?

  • Anyone can comment on Piston 3 vs 2.1?

    • There is customer review on our Facebook page for New Xiaomi Piston 3 earphone.
Please feel free to share your feedback and discussion there.

  • Hey Rep. I'm looking for a dashcam, it seems you don't stock them, any plans to sell them soon? Would like to combine postage with charger.

    • Hi Rep, I can see you don't sell dashcams. But you sell chargers. Do you sell the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat?

    • Ive got one here, its brand new never used, PM me if you are interested

  • Previously bought a couple of these from Mushtato, shipping and service were excellent!

  • Repeat customer these guys are great never had an issue and always delivered after 1-2 days

  • Hi Rep is a possible to add 2 LEDs with the same price of $5.95 with on Powerbank? I don't see this as an option

And is the Apple Micro USB to lightning adapter/lightning cable genuine Apple?

    • Xiaomi LED light comes as an add-on to the Xiaomi 10400mAh power bank.
Each power bank allows one LED light only.
If you need LED lights, the extra one needs to be added to cart separately.

And yes, the Apple Micro USB to Lightning adapter and Apple Lightning cable are genuine from Apple.
You are hassle free from any official Apple system update.

      • Thanks for clarifying. All good :)

  • Rep, leaving for overseas in 3 weeks. If I buy this today, will I get this within the timeframe?

    • Normally takes 1-3 business days to ship to major cities in Australia.
And 3 weeks is a very long time.
Yes, you will definitely receive it in time.

      • Rep just bought em. Hope to get it before I leave!

        • Rep, Ordered on 7th and got it today. Thats fast! Thanks for that. Hope everything else I buy from you will be that fast

        • @bugoy8: Glad to hear that you received your order.
We also hope AusPost can always do their jobs properly.

  • Dammit, I wish I hadn't bought one yesterday from the overseas mob ;_;

  • I wonder if you can charge your Go Pro Silver with this, all you need is a USB cable.

    • +1

Yup. It can power the gopro as well.

  • Hi Rep, is the Apple 1m Lightning Cable genuine?

    • Already been asked, yes it is genuine.
