  For anyone wondering why the title is (aptly) named as such, there's some pretty interesting reasons for it:

  • the developer behind this game was Moa Hato
  • the title is a pun on the Japanese english loanword, hātofuru and when pronounced it can mean 'hurtful' or heartfull'
  • the Japanese word 鳩 means dove or pigeon and is pronounced as 'hato'
