Dear OzBargainers,

Mike here from MEElectronics with a deal on our popular dual-driver M-Duo Hi-Fi in-ear headphones. This is a repeat of a promotion from last year, as requested many times over the past several months. However, this time around Noisy Motel will be partnering with us to provide similar pricing with shipping from Melbourne via Australia Post - a much faster, tracked delivery method for customers in Australia than our own international mail option.

The M-Duo is our flagship enhanced-bass earphone, utilizing a dual driver configuration with discrete subwoofer and built-in crossover circuit to provide clean, extended bass response and clear sound across the rest of the spectrum. Other features include dual-layer metal housings, reinforced cabling, and an inline microphone and remote for smartphones and other devices (see our mic/remote info page for remote compatibility info).

Thanks to Noisy Motel, there are two options for purchase and delivery:

M-Duo on Noisy Motel (shipping from Australia, $59.95 AUD shipped). Coupon Code: OzBargain_MDuo (if ordering 2x units, use Coupon Code: OzBargain_MDuox2 for additional savings for a price of $109.95 AUD)
Note: delivery typically takes 1-5 business days. Valid while supplies last.

M-Duo on meelec.com (shipping from US, $39.99 USD + $6 postage). Coupon Code: OzBargain_MDuo
Note: The shipping charge to Australia is a flat $6 ($8.95, but the coupon code takes another $2.95 off). Delivery times are typically between 10 and 20 business days.

Promotion ends on May 12th. Limit: 2 per order.

As always, I will gladly answer any questions as best I can in the comments below. I can also be contacted by private message or by email at mike(at)s2einc(dot)com .
All questions and comments are welcome! If this works well, I am sure we will be running additional promotions this way in the future.

Could it be the extra space there after "Duo"?

        Mike the coupon code whisperer

  • Thanks Mike, I've had the m6p headphones for more than a year now and am looking to upgrade. How would the m duos compare?

    • Major differences are those in fit (the M-Duo fits like a conventional in-ear headphone while the M6P is over-the-ear sport-style), plus the more durable housings and better sound quality of the M-Duo. The tuning philosophy is similar but the bass of the M-Duo digs deeper while the clarity is maintained better despite the extra bass. Treble quality is better too.

  • Hey, I got the sports ones when you had a deal on here bit over a year ago. One side just stopped working for no reason not long ago… any deals on sports ones/ bluetooth ones?

    • If this promotion works out well we will do some more using a similar mechanism. But if I were you I'd also shoot an email to our customer service team to see if the unit can be replaced under warranty (if it's close to a year old or less) or repaired. All you need is your order number.

      • Thanks yeah checked.. it was just over a year. unfortunately. Anyone else know of good sport earphones around??

        • +1

Honestly, I would still send that email. Just over a year sounds doable in terms of replacement.

      • Hopefully this promotion goes well and we see more. I need a second set of X6 (or maybe upgrade to X7) since my wife keeps stealing mine.

  • My only criticism is that I've had 3 sets of these. I do a lot of running and get sweat in the microphone and play/pause button. Because of this, the microphones no longer work and songs occassionally play or skip by themselves. It would be great if they were designed with rubber housing in those areas to prevent water/sweat affecting them. Apart from that the bass and sound quality is great on these earphones. Mike is always easy to deal with aswell.

    • We do have a couple of sweat-resistant sports headphones in our Sport-Fi series. If you ever decide to upgrade, the latest wireless set (X7) has comparable sound quality to the M-Duo when used with a Bluetooth aptX-enabled phone or tablet.

      Appreciate the feedback!

      • Thanks mike. I'll have a look at them for my next upgrade.

    Hi Mike,

Hope you're doing well- good work with this deal as usual!

Noticed that the M6 Pros are finally back in stock. Any chance for a deal on these? :) Missed out on the deal by Noisy Motel a while back.

    Thanks!

It's very likely to go out of stock again as we don't seem to be able to manufacture them quickly enough, but once things stabilize we'll get that Noisy Motel deal back again for you guys.

Just wanted to follow up and say that if you're still on the market, we finally managed to get some inventory over to Noisy Motel for a re-run :)
