Not sure if that code is working I checked Perth to Sydney 30 June Return next Day 1 July the fares are the same with the code and without

    • Australian domestic travel is valid for Virgin Australia marketed and operated flights departing Australian port to Australian port for travel between 1 June and 25 June 2015.

  • Australian port to Australian port for travel between 1 June and 25 June 2015

    • Departing between those dates so your return can be after the 25th of June.

      • But your return leg is still 'departing' no?

        • I don't believe that is how they term it as it's part of the original flight.

  • Domestic fares look a bit average - $114 for ADL > MEL one way - ($90 or less and I'd be booking if it included baggage).

Island travel - ADL > VLI (Vanuatu) - 24/10 - 2/11 $699. Other comparable fares at the time are still $840 return. $700 isn't the cheapest air fare I've seen and you'd have to compare it with accommodation packages which sometimes offer the better deal.

  • Dodgy!

Just tried to book from Sydney to Nadi in travel period specified below. Following all the rules, EXACT same price when I book with or without code.

Massive neg for wasting my time filling in all the details to book (to see if discount comes off later).
I followed every condition above (fare type, travel period, travel dates etc.).

    • Uhh, you realise it's UP TO 25% off, that doesn't mean every flight has a discount on it. I just did 7th Nov - 16th Nov and saw discounts. not on all times though.

      • Well maybe to be fair to people, they should specify that exclusions apply at certain times.

Because otherwise its misleading to say the least. If people follow the conditions stipulated, they should be entitled to the appropriate discount. If I didnt 'double check' their booking prices, I could reasonably assume the discount has been applied and book (thinking I've got a discount when I havent). That's misleading.

  • I can't find the proper conditions and which selected destinations. Any luck?
