Lebara? yay nay? Vodafone network - 4g compatible?

    • question: can I purchase now? receive it in the mail, and then activate say…3-4 weeks later? Reason is, I am travelling overseas for a few weeks, but the deal may expire before I return.

      • +1

you won't get the deal though… you have to activate during the period to get the extra data

Thanks just bought one! Will use it for one month then transfer again to Amaysim and keep getting these %50 off :)

    • Awesome approach, I'm impressed

  • Anyone in Brisbane on Lebara? How are the data speeds, call quality and SMS quality? Thanks! Looking to transfer to Leabara!

  • I am using them from last 3 months. The call quality is decent and the customer support is excellent.

  • Where do I enter the none required coupon?

    • … troll? there is no coupon required?

      • There's a difference between being a troll and making a joke -.-

  • From this
    http://www.lebara.com.au/bundle-terms-and-conditions
It seems these guys charge data in 1Mb increments. Not sure if still good value or not.

    • even at 1mb increment - 5gb is pretty sweet…i'm on TPGs $19.99 plan for 1gb and $500 calls.

      • What plan is that? Website shows new pricing of $17.99 for 1.5gb. I'm on the old pricing paying $12 for the same plan.

edit: nvm $17.99 is for payg

        • 17.99 does not include 500calls? where are you looking? i'm was forced onto the 19.99 plan from the original $15 plan (TPG discount) which included 1.5gb….they basically lowered data and calls, and increase price.

        • @chillipaste: funny, im still on the old pricing with the 1.5gb, been on it for like 3-4 years now

        • @krisspy: whattt….TPG forced everyone to the new plans….i had five accounts on it….there's even a TPG whirlpool thread about this a while ago…you're lucky mate - stay quiet about it :)

I ordered a SIM in March when First month 50% off deal was 1st on.
Still haven't received it despite 4 calls and 1hr+ waiting on hold.

Took a month to get mine last year.
Totally put me off Lebara tbh.

  • Also can't find any evidence that it uses Voda 4G - Anyone know or are they on the 3G network?

  • seems like 3g this a good deal???

  • ^ what he said 3g or 4g

  • Anyone know what size of sim card we can get from this National Plan Starter Pack ?

    • Damn it…the tiny little footnote ^Please note: $10, $14.95, $19.95, $24.90 and $24.95 Starter Packs are available as standard and micro sims only. If you require a Nano Sim, please order a SIM ONLY starter pack and recharge online or purchase a voucher from participating retailers. ^

      • or cut to a nano yourself - google how to. there are templates out there.

  • You can purchase Lebara Nano Silms from any supermarket, post office or from Any corner store

        • I have just signed up and for the 29.95 plan and am only receiving 2gb instead of the 4gb + 1gb port in?

  • +2

I haven't been able to find out how long the Bonus 2GB data applies to the National Plan $29.90
Is the bonus data ongoing or short term?
I see existing customers get the bonus data as well.
The Critical Information Summary still only shows 2GB data for this plan. Should it now reflect 4GB per month?
    http://www.lebara.com.au/medias/sys_master/h73/h26/891667464…

    Any clarification would be appreciated.

  • How long does the 2gb bonus last?

  • You dont even get it ive just signed up and only 2gb and it says 5gb on this..

Seems people on whirlpool are having the same problem only receiving 2gb shonky.
