This does not seem like a bargain. Even if they are the cheapest v21, they are still way more than v20 have been, and I see no difference in quality or features.

  • get a Hoka clifton if you want something better. those Kayano 21s are always around those prices on COTD. heaps of $170 ones on ebay.

Pretty sure this is Ozbargain, not Oz-be a judgemental prick.

Not all Oz-bargainers only shop at K-mart or the Rejectshop.

the Asics are for people who don't want to (profanity) up their feet in $25 kmart shoes while running.

my first pair of kayanos got me over 800kms of running, currently going through another pair.

So Viper - I'm guessing you run around in second hand clothes - I mean why pay extra dollars for new clothes. You must have the cheapest car on the streets - surely some old car you bought for less then $500. i mean if it gets you from A to B, why spend extra on a new car, or a brand you know and trust? Who cares about safety.

What a really really silly comment - Serious drivers drive serious cars. Serious fashionistas wear serious clothes. Serious runners wear serious shoes.

Get over yourself - just cause you don't see value in something, does not mean others don't.

      • Pretty sure he gets around on a $50 Kmart bike.

    • ok, i lol'd a bit at "fluorescent douchebag" but your argument is as ridiculous as someone who took the piss out of you for wearing kmart shoes. feet are important, more so to those who've suffered foot injuries in the past.

like most things, you buy the best you can afford.

If you wear high end asics for 6 months then go back to cheap shoes you will feel instantly what the benefit is. Proper support. That is why all serious runners buy these. It's like running on a cushion.

      • Not all serious runners buy Kayano.

      https://www.kogan.com/au/shop/?keywords=kayano+21

Don't know about postage, I didn't look that far.

      • I got that Kogan email too. Only issue they aren't selling size 11.5 so I couldn't get any.

        • $180.94 incl freight protection ships in 1-2 weeks

          @jeffr:

Yep offered by Kogan HK and shipped from Hong Kong.

At least COTD has their stock coming from North Melbourne AU with Australian warranty.

      • Have to take into account that their stock is located in Taiwan if you don't mind the few weeks delivery time.

  • thanks Creamsoda that didnt show up in my search.. have to find out why. I need to read fine print MUS10 = US10.5

Kayano 20's - $139.95 delivered. No point paying more for 21's in my opinion.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2014-ASICS-GEL-KAYANO-20-MENS-WOM…

Though admittedly their sizes are almost gone. My girlfriend bought some from here a couple of weeks ago and there were heaps left.

    • good find - no US 10.5 though :(

    • you are right, sizes very limited in the 20s - only mens size 8.5 in Red to choose from.
