This is On-Ear which is more than often considered worse than Over-Ear.
I've seen local stocks coming down to this price several times. As newer models of this have come out, the price might go down further, especially by DSE or other local vendors (Who have On-Ears at $139 at the moment).

  These were as low as $99 at local retailers as of boxing day '14.

  I bought a pair. Good sound, but hurt my ears so badly after about 30 minutes that I couldn't use them.

  Gave them to my girlfriend's sister.

  Yeah, I've seen these coming down to $100 in local stores several times, but I haven't seen these kind of deals for 2 months at least.

  I don't know, I have gut feeling that DSE might do price like this at one point, being that the price is already close to $100 ($139) and since DSE tend to love those coupon deals as well. Don't know when they will do it though.

  That being said, a deal that puts On-Ear at $100 region (note that I've used Amazon Currency Converter as well, which isn't the best way of converting AUD to USD), hasn't been around for 2 months, thought I might share.

    Especially with the Momentum 2.0s recent release I can really see them droppping below 100 in the near future

      Yes, though I think we've had several waves of the deals already from Momentum 2.0's release. Hence, the below $100 local deals that happened several times.
