how are you finding the mouse so far?

I look just to the right of my keyboard, and there it is…

      • +10

thanks, i kept looking behind me

        • +1

It's always in the last place I look, cause it would be pretty stupid to keep looking…. ;)

  • naice!

  • +6

I'm finding it awesome because it pairs up to 3 devices and i can just switch through each one.

I tried it for casual gaming like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, www.agar.io (addictive web pc flash game) and so far it has held up but sometimes there is some interference im using the Logitech unifying usb dongle for my desktop i dont notice any latency.

Since this mouse supports BT4.0 it kills my old BT mouse at everything (Stability smoothness and ergonomics), almost every BT mouse is tiny and after a while my hands start to hurt so kudos to Logitech finally making a larger BT mouse :)

I find that in TF2 because i main medic i have to move the mouse a lot more than other games and the usb unifying dongle did stutter at some points.

You can also connect it wired with a microUSB cable i suppose that will eliminate any wireless lag so essentially its a 3 in one device.

I have not installed the Logitech mouse software yet i heard it needs improvement first but the software will enable the mouse to do so much more!

Overall if you have multiple devices this mouse is a definite convenience to just switch between them, this i know isnt a gaming mouse but its good enough for the non pro gamers i would say.

    • +4

      That www.agar.io is addictive.

    • I'd still get a g900 for around the same price if you're playing games. It's pretty much the same model, but with better… everything.

      • There's no such thing as a G900…

  • Nice, there's nothing like this on the market. I've been waiting for a non crappy Bluetooth mouse that you can recharge.

  • Hmmm I have the g700s that is an awesome mouse but good god the battery is woeful, I always wanted a new Mx Revolution style mouse so this might be it!

    • +5

I'm still rocking the MX Revolution mouse I bought in 2008. I had to solder a new button microswitch into it about 18 months ago, but other than that it's going great still. I've been waiting all this time for another mouse with the adaptive scroll wheel.

      • +1

Same dude I've been waiting for that adaptive scroll for so long, had to change mice though since my scroll got messed up.

        • Same here - Now I have a future model replacement for my mx revolution

    • +1

I would suggest looking into g602 too if you still want a gaming grade mouse. It doesn't have extremely high dpi , but the batter life is amazing. For everyday use, I'm still on the same 2x eneloop after about 2 month.

    • I have the g700s that is an awesome mouse but good god the battery is woeful

So keep a charger full of Eneloops plugged in next to your desk and swap them out as necessary. Easy.

      • I do, but I would still rather it just last longer.

  • -5

Looks good… I might get one when they drop to around $30…

    • +6

      Keep waiting….

    • +7

Looks good… I might get one when they drop to around $30…

Another pointless comment from JV, what a surprise.

      • -2

        As is yours.. :P

  • pfff…cant use eneloops :/

  • if the battery can be replaced with 2xAAs and with a size of M905 it would be perfect…

I have had this mouse for over a week and as someone owning 2 computers (Macbook Pro and Surface Pro 3), I must say that this mouse blows away anything else I have ever used. The best thing is how seamlessly and quickly it can switch between the different computers. The logitech options software allows for some insane customization so that the horizontal scroll can be used to scroll between desktops on a mac or snap windows to the sides. The gestures work extremely well as well but are more useful for mac users. Unlike most however, I find the ergonomics a little off as the taper down on the right hand side of the mouse is a little bit much. Battery life so far has been great (haven't had to charge and showing as 90% till now). It definitely feels premium but it still hurts to think how much I paid for it ($109). P.S. I have read some complaints of dropouts with the mouse going to sleep etc but have never experienced this myself.

    • It's expensive for a general use mouse, but if you start comparing it to many of the boutique gaming mouses it's actually not very expensive.

      • I see. It is actually my first expensive mouse so I had no idea about the category of boutique gaming mice!

    • +1

Thanks for the mini review rapoot, you get years out of these things so don't worry about the costs I think its worth it in the long run…speaking as someone with an mx revolution (first one) still kicking along :)

I was keen for this mouse originally but in discussing this mouse with others and after seeing the switching buttons on the bottom I started using software that lets you use M&KB across multiple devices and that's working great so don't need this anymore if the revolution or mx performance dies,I'd grab one of these in a heartbeat for the ergonomics and build of them.

      • I don't know why people complaints about mouse prices. You have to think that is the device that is in permanent contact with your body. Having the best mouse available it really makes a difference in you everyday's comfort for only a one off payment of $120

    • With the thumb button/gestures, can you actually swipe on the thumb button or do you press the button then move the whole mouse in a direction to activate a gesture? thanks

      • +1

Hi, unfortunately you have to move the whole mouse as the thumb button is not gesture sensitive. I thought it would be a little unnatural too but I have really grown accustomed to it (1 week in). Hope this helps

    • I get the same issues with my Swann BT mice (it was on sale $5), its worst on my pc vs laptop.
It hangs and then a big delay before responding.

So I think it's to do with the BT connection itself or maybe the BT receiver (PC USB dongle vs built in receiver on laptop).
I deal with it on my laptop, as using BT free up a USB port and I hate using a wired mice.

I can't help thinking I need to play the new Deus Ex with this

  • +1

Almost buy one this afternoon at MSY Ultimo NSW, unfortunately they have no stock…
THX OP, you save me 10 bucks!

  • +2

Why oh why did I have to be left handed…. :(

    • -1

I'm left handed and I just learnt how to type/use a mouse the same as everyone else in primary school.

      • shubby's point is that this is contoured for right handed users, unlike other mice.

        • Yeah, iv'e always used cheap ambidextrous mice that come with PC's with left hand and with left button as left click as right handed people. The curve makes it really hard to use with left hand. Therefore, I use a logitech G300 and its awesome, might get the G300s because it looks cooler.

  • wow

    ultimate mouse

  • Thanks, cheaper than the previous Logitech deal from Logitech direct who still haven't shipped three weeks after they were supposed to. So much for pre-ordering from Logitech direct. Sent them a cancellation.

    Previous deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/191646

  • I'm worried that it's too big for my dainty hands. Thinking to get the Marathon Mouse M705 instead. Does anyone have any experience with this mouse?

    • +1

Use it for work, I really like it

    • I have both M705 and M905. I highly recommend M905.

Have been using M705 for a couple of years. Out of sudden the mouse does not work on those usual desk in office and have to use a mouse pad.
Got the M905 around the same time, it comes with a premium finish, a better sensor which can even work on my non-transparent glass desk.

Note that only M950, M905 and Master equip with the DarkField Laser Tracking.

Now I am thinking whether getting this Master or wait to see if a replacement of M905 with an essence of Master will eventually come. As I have a small hands and M950 is a bit big for me.

  • I almost bought this multiple times at much higher prices. Couldn't resist this time :(

    • +3

      'Couldn't resist this time :) '

      fixed it for you :p

  • thanks OP!

  • This looks l like a great device and the three way switching is exactly what I need, but there is no keyboard with the same function, so I don't see the point.

Why don't Logitech make a mechanical, full sized, Bluetooth plus unifying, keyboard to go with it?

    • Yep I agree and im sure Logitech will, fwiw in the interim theres a few bits of software out that the do just that, here's one from MS themselves (called mouse without borders but works with kb too)

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGJPDOqZc3Q
      http://blogs.microsoft.com/next/2011/09/09/microsoft-downloa…

      • I'm a big fan of without borders, it is perfect if you're only running windows. Unfortunately I'm running linux as well at the moment and they never did release a linux version. There are linux options but none work as well or are as simple.

    • The logitech k810 & k811 do 3-way switching but lack numpads.

      • Yeah I looked at them as options but no unifying receiver and I find the keys start sticking after a year our so. I want the accuracy and reliability that the gamers get from a mechanical keyboard. Of course I don't want it to look like a gamers keyboard though :)

out of stock as of now
"Sorry. We don't have enough 'Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse (910-004337)' in stock to fulfill your order: we have -1 in stock. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart and click update. Then try to checkout again."

    • hopefully they get more up or have an even better promo soon as i've missed out too :P

  • Bugger, I just got the M950t not long ago (deal/sale that was posted here).
    Its still sealed/unused.
Damn so tempted to get this.

    Damn, sold out it looks

  • Damn, actually so glad this got sold out. I was trying to justify buying a second one lol…

  • +1

Anyone else find the first thing to go on Mice is the left click button? The button starts registering 2 clicks every time you 1 click. Happened on my MX Revolution and two other high end Logitech mice before that. Currently have a 905t so hoping things may have changed this time around.

    • Well.. it most situations, it is the most commonly used button. Makes sense it's the first to go.

    • It's a common issue with Logitech. I use mine so much I'm lucky to get 2 years, but I like the M950 so much I keep buying it. Managed to get one replaced under warranty.

    • +1

The two click issue is a problem i have had on all the Previous generation MX mice. Good to see they kept that feature(bug)

  • you can also get the magenta Logitech z50, for $10 if you add it to your order :)

  • Out of stock:(

    • +1

      How abt if u r drawing ;)

  • Still haven't received my order, can't track my order, and can't get a response from Shopping Express. Bad experience so far.
