  • Is this the original poster of this deal?

    • Original poster? I searched but couldn't find any dupes…

      • -3

Someone tried to post this a little while earlier but it was rejected for not listing the deals
I was just wondering if it was you

        • Oh, no, I just searched and found no previous deals for this and figured I was the first.

    • +6

Nah, that was me. All good though, Macka has a more comprehensive list. The deal was "evolving" when I posted it.

Beat me by three minutes! :)

    Highlights?

    • THanks Tihocan! I've added your links into the post :)

  • Anyone else having trouble with the psn store? PS4 working fine, can load hulu, play games online but playstation store will not open, on US and AUS account.

    • slow on vita
      try rebooting and check internet

    • +4

Apparently, those douches called lizard squad are DDOS'ing the network.

    • +1

Yeah haven't been able to sign in all morning on my AU or US account on the computer or laptop.

    • I'm accessing on browser (Chrome). It's stuck on Loading… part and won't progress.

  • Sweet deal. Just wish our dollar was worth more.

  • For those of you purchasing from the US PSN, do you have north american credit cards or did you create US paypal accounts?

    • Buy codes off Amazon with my 28 degree Mastercard.

      • Done….cheers !

    • +1

I've been using a US Paypal but it won't work today, keeps telling me that I need a credit card now even though I have the finds in there and in the correct currency.

You can buy credit from amazon though.

    • If you have an AMEX card, it will work like a US credit card.

  • Hey guys just want to know what's the best way to top up on US PSN? I've used psn cards on eBay before but it's overpriced now on dungeon crawl.

Can you use 28degrees via Amazon?

    I don't have Paypal us

    • +1

Buy codes off Amazon with my 28 degree Mastercard.

      • Cool. But do you need Us address

        • +1

If you know how to google = you have an US address.

        • +1

          Beverly Hills CA 90210.

@Yuri Lowell: and pay sales tax?

I would just pick a random pizza shop in a non-sales tax state like Oregon or Delaware.

        • @SirFlibbled: Never paid tax on Amazon with it.

        • @Yuri Lowell: Then you must be special. I used to have stuff sent to Shipito's LA location when they had it and paid sales tax on it all the time.

        • @SirFlibbled: Maybe it's digital downloads but yeah I've always used that and never paid a cent over the PSN card value.

      • Just done the deal MasterCard + Amazon work around.

Works fine with PSN code. Thanks

    • If you don't want to buy $30 or $50 at a time, just use an AMEX card and pay directly via PSN.

  • Is this US only? I can't tell, as I can't even login to the damn site.

    • +3

      US PSN only.

freedom wars $4.80?? get outta here, thats so cheap

    • Bought Freedom Wars!!!

      • whats the easiest way to switch from AU to US account on the vita? its the only thing holding me back from buying

        • Sadly it isn't easy. I resorted to getting two Vitas as it was less hassle than resetting one to access the other account. Thankfully Sony weren't such bas… pri… ars… erm, nasty-pasties with the PS4.

        • Just dump your Aus account, and start anew with a US account. It will work out better in the long. I did it and have no regrets.

  • +1

Mass effect trilogy - so cheap. Do it!!!!!

  • Site down?

    • Working at the moment, but took three refreshes to get the site up.

  • +1

Okami is a really cool game. It's also going to be one of the prettiest games you'll ever see, despite it being a PS2 port. And its art style will withstand the test of time. It will still look gorgeous 20 years from now, unlike most games that focus on technical prettiness.

  • Trials Fusion for me, thanks OP!

  • +2

Amazon PSN cards these are the playstation cards I found for sale since you can't add an Australian credit card to your US PSN wallet. Just buy this on amazon, you can use an Australian credit card, just make sure your billing address is a US address and everything will work fine. Code gets shown at end of transaction or on your amazon account.

    • Remember to use an address on amazon that does not incur tax fees. Some states charge taxes, some do not. Google.

      • Oh sweet I did not know that, but i'm not sure if amazon charged me for tax when i used Ohio as my address. However, this is what I found "Five states do not have a statewide sales tax: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon." So even though if i'm unsure if it helps it would be your best interest to find a US address that are based in these states :)

  • need street fighter 4 vita

  • I topped up just for Raiden 4

AU playstation is as weak as our dollar. $15 under deal for Indies no thanks.

$49.98 for DA:I what a rip-off might as well get a physical cheaper. Rubbish Ea sales ripping off Aussies.

Mass effect trilogy US $4.80 vs AU $26.49

Example how f$&ked up it is. As if GST helps anything nor the budget for price discrimination

AU store so bad it's beyond ridiculous

I regret buying a few titles on discount as US still cheaper with flash sales even with exchange rate plunged

    • The government is going to collect GST on Steam purchases and Netflix. I think PSN is coming soon too. It's only a matter of time.

  • Flower PS4 is great for $1.40

    • Even better, it's cross buy so you get 3 versions of it.

  • Sweet. Grabbed Bioshock as I've bought 2 and Infinite and keen to play them all in a row. Strangely I've noticed that the original Bioshock is still worth quite a bit on eBay. Anyway… also grabbed The Walking Dead Season 1 on PS4. Played a bit on iPad and really liked it. Cheers OP.

  • Been waiting for a good price on Okami. Thanks!

  • I have a vpn on my computer so I can set ip address to US. so how do I get the game I buy onto the PS4?

    • You don't need a VPN. Just a US account. Once you buy it, log onto your US account on your PS4 and download the game. You can then play it on your AU account.

  • 1) Make a new US playstation account (if you dont already have one)
    2) Make a new profile on your playstation with above account
    3) Use US account to download games onto playstation
    4) Then you can log into the AUS account if you prefer eg for trophies etc
    5)…
    6) Profit

  • Finally picked up Okami and Wolf Among Us for a good deal, thanks poster!

  • just set up a US account, faffed around to buy credit via amazon and purchased freedom fighters…..dont even have a vita, darn you ozbargin!

now to find a good vita deal

    • Annoying thing with a Vita is you can only have it connected to one account at a time. So you need to pretty much decide if you want to use your AU account or US account with it (and forever more).

      • if i set my vita up (when i find a good deal on one)using a US account what kind of things would i miss out on or not be able to do.
At the moment i have a PS3 with a new US account thats unused and a Aus account that i have been using on and offline for a number of years.
My plan was to invest in a PS4 in the not to distant future and liked the idea of remote play?
so would both PS4 and vita need to be set up on US accounts?

        • It means that you wont have access to any previously bought games. When I got my wife a Vita, we had about 10 games that she could play on her Vita from previous purchases (PS1 games and stuff).

So we decided to just leave it on the AU account.

  • when does the sale end?

    • It's done now. All prices have returned to normal.

  • just for future reference I tried to sign up for a us psn account but it kept default to the aus site, is there anyway around this?
