If there were two batteries that both performed exactly the same, then yes, why wouldn't I? Paying for a brand is stupid, paying for the "Coke" brand is beyond dumb.
@PainToad: Some people like collectables though. And some people collect the set then put them on ebay or Gumtree for profit. You can't do that with those IKEA ones!

there are 6 verities of glass there will only be 4 weeks of promo period?
Someone posted above that it included 1 week of runout. So 6 designs over the first three weeks and then the last week is a clearance of whatever's left. Gonna have to visit roughly twice a week. :9
I asked the person who served me today (yes, I went back for another 1899 glass) and he said that they just run through each of the six designs in chronological order until they're out. It might depend on which store you go to as to the way they hand out the various glasses.
I prefer the schooner glasses I have collected over the years from various pubs I have drunk at.
Every family with obesity that I knew growing up, drank from these glasses at home.
To this day I still refuse to drink from one for fear of growing sideways.
While I'm sharing, I ate 3 $2 chicken burgers from maccas on my drive home, because I'm trying to put some weight on.I drink water from mine :-P

funny thing is I helped unload 6 or 7 containers of this in Perths Maccas distrubition warehouse (has own company name) in perth about a month ago

I found it ironic that the glasses I've got have Korean instructions on it. It pretty much said, it's not heat proofed and don't use anything that can scratch it to wash the glasses.
How much is the glass without any meal? Used to be $1 - $2.
