  • Cards directly from the ISIC site are $30.

  • How accommodating are they with the issue of an International Teacher Card? I am too old to be a student!! :o)

    • Was just looking into this actually and realised that the Teacher card doesn't have the 50% off like the other too! - Sorry, will edit the post to reflect this.

Just in case you still do decide to get one:
Eligibility and Validity: "you must be a teacher, professor or instructor engaged in full-time employment at an accredited educational establishment for a minimum of 18 hours per week and for a minimum of one academic year." (not sure how they validate this - I had to send a copy of my Student card for my ISIC and that was it).

  • Also, if anyone has had any experience using the ISIC and has any suggestions please feel free to share as I'm due to leave for a big trip in a few months.

    • +1

Get one of these student ID cards if you're 30 and under and plan on going to Europe at any point !!

      Check out https://www.isic.org/ for details.

I had a PADI student card from Barrier Reef Diving School, Airlie Beach and managed to get a International Student Card with it in Greece.
It gives big discounts at many locations, tourist sights/sites and student fares on trains etc.

Saved me heaps backpacking through Europe.
