Unfortunately I found out the hard way that I'm one of those that don't like it. Had two drinks then set the bottle aside. Bloody expensive paperweight.
It's a lot for a liquid sitting in a bottle that won't be used. Do you think I can put it on Gumtree, how about "Opened bottle of Blue for sale, promise I used a glass to sample it" :)
Bring it out during celebrations and let a few others enjoy it and possibly get some brownie points for style!!

My wife likes scotch and coke but even $170 scotch she would want coke as she doesnt like the taste by itself. Hey, whatever you like I guess.
I think it's a conspiracy that Johnnie blue and coke are never on special at the same time :)
Cupboard is full of JW Black that will be enjoyed but the Blue nah.

To my tastebuds this is a sweet, smooth (most useless whisky adjective ever) but boring whisky. No complexity or character to speak of. Poor value given there are a few far more interesting single malts that can be had for less than $100.
mix it with yellow to get green label.
finding the yellow is the difficult bit… haha…

They have a cheaper alternative and almost as good XR21… though i still pref Blue…
Royal Salute is not bad too… also like Yoichi 15… m… Whiskey…
Try Crown royal and most likely you will never go back to Johnny walker.
All of them taste same with coke
1L has been $199 in the past which is much better value
