I've had this model for years. I started shaving at about 3 years of age and my iron filing stubble has inflicted more than enough pain on women over the years. I've been using this for the last 7 years, for the amount I was spending on razors, the cost has more than made up for it.
I have yet to replace the foil, I just give it a clean every few months and it still works flawlessly.I have always used the Philishaves, but i find with electric shavers that it takes so much longer to shave and have to keep going over the same spot so many times to remove all the hair etc and i am not a very hairy person…how do other people use electric shavers or is the philishave design just not as good.
The good Brauns kill the Philiishaves for me, but everyone is different, so there's no one answer.
I grabbed this deal. When delivered found that the lock switch that holds the shaver head in place wasn't working. Luckily had a Shaver Shop close by who replaced it without any dramas. New one is working well! Much less irritation compared to blade shaving so far.
