Somersby 10 Pack Apple Cider $19.99 ($2 Per Can) @ Dan Murphy's

62

Got this on the weekend, works out to be $2 per can

They are selling the 6 pack for $16 and a case for $50-$57

Not as sweet as some, true to taste. If someone gave it to you without telling you what it is you would not guess its alcoholic

this is the regular price mate

How does this compare to Weentersby?

    • -1

      hehehe

  • Thats the regular price as stated, although it normally is the cheapest place to get it when it isn't reduced. But rarely ever is.

  • But… a case works out cheaper than a 10 pack.

    • -3

      You mean more expensive?

      • +2

Per can. Apologies for those who have trouble reading between the lines.

          3 x 10-pack, 30 cans, $60 at $2 per can.
          24 cans at $50 (or $57) = $2.08-ish (or $2.37) per can

          @COR80:

          It's a case of 30, dude.

        • -6

@waterlogged turnip: Fair enough- what's the prob then? Cases always work out cheaper than a six or 10 pack. Still good for those who don't want the whole box.

        • -3

@waterlogged turnip: Neg away people, but feel free to explain why it is an absolute revelation that it still works out cheaper by the case. By the case is usually always cheaper, whether 6 or 10 packs are on special or not.

          @COR80:
What on earth are you babbling about?

You made a mistake… more than one mistake, actually. Surely it's better not to draw more attention to them?

@llama: don't goad him. he may end us all.

@llama: Now now llama, you seem overly keen on jumping into bitchy/snarky mode.

OP invited discussion earlier by taking the time to post a comment, pointing out that the cider was still cheaper by the case. I simply wondered why this was so notable. A quick explanation/rationale would have been more productive than the negs and school-marmish comments, don't you think?

@COR80: Used my daily quota on you for being a schmooftie

@Tal_Shiar: Hmmmm. Certainly are a few emotional types around.

@COR80: looked in the mirror lately?

        • -2

@Tal_Shiar: You're quite the weirdo aren't you. Feel free to get back to me when you're ready to answer my initial question, but you seem to prefer the bitchy stuff. Each to their own.

        • -1

@COR80: when i get more negs, I'll be back for you, you black kettle owning ozbargainer weirdo hypocrite you..

        • -2

@Tal_Shiar: Ahaha keep 'em coming lil man.

But… a case works out cheaper than a 10 pack.

      Of course. Why wouldn't it?

    • -1

      that's only a 3 percent saving. ($2 off $60)

  • same price at BWS last week.. (when I purchased it)

  • you would not guess its alcoholic

Reminds me of West Coast Cooler when I was a teenager

    • +1

Lol I was drinking it thinking, this shit cant be bad for me, tastes like apple juice!

  • It's nice and a good price, in fact its probably my favorite cider. But it's the same price I've normally paid at various stores (not on sale). I agree though, if you didn't know better you'd think it was a sale price, good value :)

    • yeah that's me, I hardly drink anymore. We bought a case of Elk and it lasted over a year

  • $20 per 10-pack is the standard price at First Choice.

  • Can also get 10 cans of Strongbow or 5 seeds for just under 20. Both at Dan Murphy's.
Maybe not a deal but I never realised cider in cans was this cheap either.

  • standard price at liquor land too.
no deal, it's this price everywhere.

  • $20/10 pack is the standard price and has been for years. this is not a bargain.
