Reviews for this are abysmal. Apparently a very poor product. non-stick Teflon will come off within 1 year. Cooker has little grip on the table, hard to clean and each time you open it after cooking water will flow out of the lid onto the table.
I have one of these and it is ok..
The Teflon bowl died after about a year but after contacting support they sent me a new one free (eventually)
It tends to burn on at the botton if left in 'keep warm' for too long
You do need to wipe the lid after use but that's not a big job - i haven't had any water leaking issues
Otherwise it does a good job
I reckon my old kambrook was more robust but this cooks better rice
you can't really complain for $39,even if it lasted only for 12 months.
I disagree. I paid $80 for my rice cooker 12 years ago and it's still going.
I really detest this wasteful throw away attitude. Imagine our grandparents being happy with something lasting a year.
Price would be mighty helpful…$39
