I was looking to expand my PS4 storage and boy am I glad I didn't pull the trigger a few days ago. This deal showed up in some targeted ads on my sidebar, possibly because I was looking for one.

Just to reiterate, this deal is from Amazon US and is in USD. Standard 28° and citibank advice applies.

Looks like its a repeat of a deal from a few months back.

I've researched a bit into the matter and it appears that this drive is known for containing a non soldered slim HDD, so it's apparently ideal for PS4 upgrading. If anyone knows this to be false, please do chime in.

  • That's a good price. I paid $129 @ JBHifi. This works well on the PS4.

      For the extra AU$10 (8.8%) that you spent, you received the extra security of a local warranty. So, not all that bad really.

      • No, warranty invalid since it was opened up and removed from the case.

          Yes, but I guess if it was done carefully, it could be reversed?

          @A3Australia:
          Easiest case to open, no screws or seals you can do it with a fingernail no damage just pops apart if drive fails just pop it back into the case

  • Damn that price went away quite quickly…
