    They disallow P2P.

    • Is BitTorrent and other file-sharing traffic allowed on all servers? If not, why?
The primary goal of VPN Unlimited is not to download torrents, but to offer online security. There are limited cases when our technical team had to decrease the connection speed because of torrenting. We allow legal usage of P2P file sharing on US-California 1, Romania, Luxembourg, France, Canada-East servers.

    • That's a plus for people wqho want to use a fast VPN without P2P'ers clogging up thw bandwidth.
Hardly a reason for a neg.

  • Added the terms of the deal, looks like it supports P2P and torrents. Pretty good deal, but apparently from reading on whirlpool the speeds are pretty average.

I don't see how "lifetime" works. For starters, most businesses have short lifetimes. But if a business stays afloat, how can you influence the quality of the product and service, as a consumer, if they have pocketed your money years ago and aren't getting any more of it?

    • Yeah I agree, running servers isn't a once off cost, espcially out of multiple datacentres.
But if you get 2yrs out of it, then $39 is pretty good.

      • +1

but given that 3yrs is $19, paying $39 for two years vs paying $19 for two years becomes a no-brainer right?

        • totally agree.
If they had an Oz server, I'd join up.
