"Professional Technicians" - They mean 8 yr old asian kids with a screwdriver.

If they're paid they are a professional.

They have smaller hands so they are better of dealing with the m-itx boards in those m-itx cases I guess.

  • Rather build myself.

      More fun to build yourself

Same, but this might be appealing to those that want to save time or are too hesitant to do it themselves. I did my first build earlier this year and it was such good fun. I did research a lot before doing it though. I could have easily made a few mistakes (still did but nothing serious).

The newegg and pcpartpicker guides are quite good on Youtube.

The build for those that are curious:

      • G3240
      • Asrock H81M HDS
      • 4GB DDR3 1333 (+ 2GB 1333 used)
      • 1TB WD BLUE
      • EVGA Nvidia 750Ti (used)
      • Corsair VS350 350W PSU (wish I had gotten a Seasonic Gold 350W but they were out of stock).
      • Coolermaster mATX N200 case

agree, built my first PC when I was younger, but since the process is the same, no longer interesting so would rather just save time and let someone else do it

  • I thought Umart do assembly for free normally, regardless of when you ordered.

I think the minimum was $500 or $600 previously for free labour.

edit: free system build was only available for purchases over $1000. Although they have had deals and exceptions on that for quite some time.

  • Bought one last year while they had free assembly. SATA cable was sub-standard and could not work with SSD. I needed to buy new SATA cables and then everything started to work. Asrock MB just died (18 months in) but I guess that's just bad luck (hopefully not due to shorting something with case).

    • Did they not test it before they sent it out to you…? :/
