  • How often do they have these 72 hour sales? I think I saw one for earlier this year.

I ask because I'm interested in travelling, but not till after January.

  • +1

Exactly, definitely more than once. This is the third time I saw 72 hours sale from them this year.

    • Thanks for the tip :) :) :)

I might check out what prices they are doing, for comparison :)

  • It's 'from' though, could be quite expensive over the New Year and Christmas periods…

  • if you have a priority club membership call them on the 1800 121 766 number and make your booking. I got a 4 night stay for $109 per night. Thanks for the posting.

    • hmm sound good. i will be in goldcoast on mid jan, need to search the hotel

  • will be using this deal for sure, staying 2 nights in adelaide at the intercontinental there

  • it is best to get your priority club membership number call the 1800 number and get your bookings in ASAP. I wouldn't count on the website tomorrow…

  • does it matter if i joined last night to priority club?

or a question you might know the answer to, is that number open 24 hours?

  • I think the 1800 number is to the central reservation call centre. The lady is nice. Ask me for my priority club number and started juggling their availability to match my availability. Finally I bought 4 nights, because she was thinking like a travel agent, which leads me to think I was talking to one.

  • Anyone heard of any offers for joining the Priority Club? :)

(Note, I got that by clicking around the hotels. It seems to have picked up an offerID and I don't know what that is for or doing)

  • Dont worry, im not gonna vote negative however 109 is not really a good dead IMHO.

Nothing like the "TOGA" $50/night gimmicks!

    • $50 Vibe on Gold Coast is a good deal! Got 2 nights weekend before Christmas on that. Ozbargain has saved me lots this summer. $109 during peak holiday season is a Great deal, depends when can you go…

  • even $179 at an IC is a bargain.

Was in Germany earlier this year and stayed at the InterContinental in Frankfurt - 150 euro ($295AU at the time) per room per night (and we needed 2 rooms :O)

all worth it though. mark webber won the race =D

holiday inn on surfers went through a face lift 2 yrs ago. We went in yesterday to view the room and it has all the standard features you pay $90 for. The swimming is much bigger than GCI where we paid $105 per night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ozbargain's deals definitely give me more bang for my bucks :)

  • actually it is a great deal.
any chance to get anything like that for early February 2010 ?
just wondering why they can't extend it a bit further ?
