How does concentrate vs non concentrate compare in terms of value? Lately we've been using concentrate simply because it's smaller but lasts longer..
If you're price comparing, compare it on the cost per wash. This one is 18c per wash if you use their proper amount (HINT: that wont be a "full cap" as they trick you that way). What does your current concentrate cost per wash?
We buy the 250mL fabric softener concentrate sachets from Aldi for 99c (IIRC), you pour it into a 2 litre bottle and fill the rest up with water, shake it up and you've got yourself 2 litres worth of softener…
Doesn't say on the Aldi sachet how many washes its equal to though (reading other brands which make 250mL sachet concentrates, they say '20 washes' though). Could it depend on your washing machine too? I mix up the concentrate into an old empty fabric softener bottle and use the measuring cap lid to then pour out the amount into the liquid into our top loader machine's reservoir, but that has its own limit which is less than the maximum of the fabric softener's recommended 'dose' lol. :S
Anyway. Whatever you prefer I guess. I know I'm too weak to lug home 5 litre bottles, so tiny 250mL concentrate sachets suit me nicely lol.
