    Targeted fo sho

    • Knew I forgot something, thanks!

  • +8

I just want milk that tastes like real milk.

    • Ah yes. One soy, almond or oats milk coming right up!

      • +10

You mean low fat, no fat, full cream, high calcium, high protein, soy, light, skim, omega 3, high calcium with vitamin D and folate or extra dollop?

        • I remember that ad. That's the kind of marketing that brainwashes everyone haha

      • Or Paul's Smarter lite milk, with only 2% fat.

      • -3

        That is Raw milk…

Good if you don't mind things like E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria…..

        https://www.cdc.gov/food-safety/foods/raw-milk.html

        • +1

          It's pasteurised

          • -3

@cooni: Raw milk is not pasteurised.

It even states on their website that their milk is not "pasteurised or homogenised".

            • +6

@jv: The full statement is "Our milk isn’t heat pasteurised or homogenised. It’s loaded with milk’s natural nutrients, while retaining all the important enzymes that heat pasteurisation simply can’t."

It's not "heat pasteurised" but it's still pasteurised

Pressure pasteurisation has been around for ages for keeping stuff bacteria free without altering the food (flavours) with heat.

So it's 'raw', but not the same as raw milk

        • -1

We as a species (mostly) successfully managed raw milk through millennia.

Until some smart #%$ invented "homogenization", so industry could extract more products/profits, and gullible consumers get their "milk" in standardized form.

          • +3

            @Jef Tino:

We as a species (mostly) successfully managed raw milk through millennia.

What were the death rates though through those millennia?

          • +1

            @Jef Tino:

Until some smart #%$ invented "homogenization"

            Homogenisation doesn't kill the bacteria…

            Do you mean pasteurisation?

          • +2

@Jef Tino: We did that by living walking distance from the dairy or having our own cow.

You could not GET milk in most major cities or any town without a local dairy for most of history.

Pasteurisation & refrigeration allowed our modern distribution networks to exist. Homogenisation is less useful from a purely functional standpoint but it does reduce the variation across batches & over time (extending shelf-stability).

I grew up on a dairy farm. I drank actual "raw" milk (that is a dumb marketing term created by enviro hippies). It lasted 2-3 days in the fridge. Longer if you were brave/dumb.

          • -1

@Jef Tino: You had to include “(mostly)” because you know full well that thousands died from infections from consuming raw milk.

And yet you just continued to rant anyway lol..

Of course they should get more profit! The product isn’t making people sick

          • @Jef Tino: See above, it's to reduce the bacteria and other nasties to make it more fit for human consumption.

Cows milk is fine for baby cows.

        • -1

Raw milk is full of micronutrients and is very good for you despite whatever beliefs or links you have from government bodies

I been drinking it since I was a young chap and thriving on it, pasteurised and processed milk tastes like crap in comparison and makes me sick. Straight from the tit, the way nature intended is the way to go 💪🏽

          • @lovedeals:

It killed a young child here a few years back.

Yes as in straight from your mum's tit.
I doubt you'd drink cats, dogs, horse or even goats milk.. why cows, and why after you've grown from an infant. It's more like people have just been brainwashed from the big corporations for 50y. Plenty of healthier and better alternatives these days.

      • So many visions of what cold pressed could look like…but is safe!

  • +1

Not targeted this time, but in February or March I had an offer to buy this milk for around $1 (normal price, with lots of bonus points).

  • +1

Thanks OP. Just checked the app and I have it there.

  • +1

    Have it.

    Thanks OP

  • +1

    Sweet. Got it!

  • +5

    Mine was Pura

  • no luck with both accounts.

  • +2

Nothing… last time I got a freebie from flybuys was like 3 or 4 years ago

  • +4

Unpopular opinion: the dairy industry is a horror show of cruelty and should be shut down. Also, oat milk tastes better than cow's milk in coffee.

    • +3

I can't think of a more mindfcked human invention: Kill a mother's baby just to steal her milk.

      • And if the baby is a male, pick it up by it's hind legs and "Blunt Force Trauma" (BFT) it.
If it is female, after 15 months, stick your arm up it's anus to forcefully impregnate it with semen taken from a bull via electrocution.
After her milk production drops off after about the 5th impregnation, kill her and grind her into dog food.

That is a whole lot of suffering for some breast milk that is not designed for us and the majority of us can't even digest.

    • +1

Finally some people who get it. There is nothing natural about cross species lactation, especially in grown adults.

There is no shortage of healthier more ethical alternatives these days, people are just ignorant, stuck in their ways or selfish. A bit of compassion feels good.

  • +1

    I got it thanks

  • No luck here…. Nothing for many months

  • +3

Received for regular, lite or skim
    Not the lactose free

  • +1

    Thanks I got it too…

  • As expected. Targeted offer doesn't apply to my single account

  • +3

    No Milk Today.

As an aside, wow, how dated is the entire Flybuys app integration compared with Woolies Everyday Rewards.

  • -1

Got milk? Giggity (been waiting to say this for a while)

  • +1

woohoo, i finally got lucky with a flybuys freebie and it's a decent one.

  • +1

Thanks OP, I need to buy milk after work this afternoon. Hope they have it in stock..

  • I've never seen the dairy farmers brand is that an eastern states thing?

    • NSW

  • +1

    got in my one. thanks

  • +2

Redeemed, finally a freebie with stock

  • +1

Coles bought part of Saputo but gives away rivals milk for free? Something is odd here?

    • +1

I'd expect the producer funds these, not the retailer.

  • +1

    Got one thanks OP

  • +2

I got Pura lactose free instead.

  • I've been offered 300 points to buy it :(

  • +1

    Got it, thanks

  • +2

Got lactose free on one account
    and "normal" milk on another.

  • +1

Finally targeted for something. Thanks for posting

  • +1

    Thanks OP.
It's very rare for me to ever get a freebie from FlyBuys but this is a good one to get and try.
I need milk too so the timing is perfect. :-)

    • +1

I thought so too, I buy a ridiculous amount of lactose free long life milk so curious to try this one haha

  • It does not appear to be on the offers to activate at the moment.

    • @cordsplace

      Tis targeted offer.

Check again tho in case there was a glitch.

  • Has anyone used these offers on an online shop? I used one about a month ago and on the invoice it didn't come up as $0
I emailed them and they assured me it was indeed free. 🤷‍♂️

    • +1

I have in the past, it comes up as a “loyalty discount” next to your total at the bottom of the invoice.

      • +1

        Ohh i see! Ty

        • No problem!

  • No e-mail, found it in one of some flybuys.

  • +2

Have yet to find one in stock.

    • I had a bit of trouble too but did eventually find one. I worked out that my local store has 2 milk sections - one for normal milk and one for lactose free and all the other varieties. I wouldn’t know from only buying long life previously haha

    • Found it in stock yesterday
