Got an email with the offer stating that you can receive 1kg of Venom Protein powder (WPI) if you have a cart total of $30+. You can simply just buy 1kg of WPC for $27 along with something else for a few dollars and you get 2kg of protein for $30 delivered.

Note the 1kg free protein powder will be of random flavour so be warned. Maybe in the notes you can say you get sick if you eat strawberry flavour or something if you hate strawberry flavour. No guarantees though. Seems like a good gift if you were going to spend $30+ regardless though as Venom has free shipping for their products.

      Yep same, I only ever buy natural flavour now - (I buy Venom natural protein powder). I've tried their chocolate and it was good enough (don't really remember). 1kg isn't that much to go through. It's only ever an issue if you have to go through an entire 5kg bag of the same flavour like bulk nutrients used to force you to do.

        This may be a bit of a stupid question, but what is 'natural' flavour? I have had chocolate, cookie and cream, mocha, rocky road and vanilla, but i have no clue what natural would be like.

          Natural is just plain tasting. Like pretty much no flavour hence natural. I find it the best because I can make a smoothie with a banana and a scoop of natural whey without it being sickly sweet. You can't taste it at all in smoothies. If you drink it with milk it's pretty much the same as milk but you can taste a bit of the protein - it's a little bit salty tasting actually. Or I just add it into my cereal. You can choose to add cocoa powder or something + stevia/sweetener if you want to flavour it.

          @BlazinPast: I usually go with Vanilla when i want a more versatile flavour. Will give natural a go given that i use powder a tonne when cooking. Cheers.

      Pick whichever flavor you think you'll like. Their flavoring is much more subtle than Bulk Nutrients (and most other brands) which in my opinion is a good thing. However I did find it didn't mix as well as ON, Bulk Nutrients, etc.

    Previously the free 1kg was one of their discontinued flavours like Watermelon. And they won't change the free flavour. So just something to be aware of.

        not sure if it has been posted on here but they have their 'frugal friday' emails each week with a different promo, and in the past it has been the same or similar promotion for free 1kg wpi/wpc.

        I ordered this same promo once when it did not specify the flavour of the free 1kg and then after I sent an email requesting chocolate, but got a reply back saying the flavour was watermelon. im guessing thats why they now specify 'flavour chosen at random'.

          @f4tty: not sure, i cancelled my order when i found out the free 1kg was watermelon. you'll have to enlighten us as to if it is any good!

          but i normally have my protein with milk. i personally dont like the taste with water though other people seem to prefer it.

    I have tried most of the venom flavours before. Like AnthonyH87 said the flavours are pretty subtle. I actually really enjoyed the banana flavour for a bit of a change, and the caramel was good too. Just purchased 1kg WPC + 200g beta alanine. Pretty decent for $47 with another 1kg of WPI

    bought their chocolate wpc couple of years ago, was pretty good. Recently I bought 5kg wpc from Bulnutrients - chocolate, choc mint, banana, mocha, vanilla. Havent opened Vanilla yet, but I found all of them to be very sweet, that's without me adding any sugar.

      I settled on chocolate, didn't like most of their other flavours TBH … but they're a good retailer provided you don't mind the sweetness. They use Stevia I think.

      Well it's always something new every week if you subscribe to their email. I think protein is by far the most popular supplement of choice hence thought it was a good deal. + usually their minimum amount in the cart is very high and this one is only $30

    I don't think I'l be reordering Venom again. Half a year ago I purchased 4kg of choc WPC. At the start of this month, I started drinking them roughly twice a day and after about a week experienced horrible gastrointestinal issues. I still feel I need to rush to the toilet after just having one every few days now. I never had this problem with other protein powders.

      Same thing happened to me which is why I switched to natural flavour. I ordered 5kg of chocolate from bulk nutrients and it killed me to eat the last 2kg. It would make me so sick and it was such a struggle to drink it. Honestly I think it might be from drinking the same flavour so much. Didn't have the issue when switching to Venom with 5 different 1kg flavours. I love natural flavour now it doesn't really taste like anything.

          Still Natural flavour with Venom. I mean natural is natural so doesn't matter where I get it from - Venom happened to be the cheapest. Before I bought it from Bulk Nutrients - it's all the same.

          Not necessarily. Lab testing indicates that only Venom and Bulk Nutrients' whey ever actually has the same content of protein advertised. The testing is done by a third-party courtesy of Bulk Nutrients if you so request (so make of any possible bias what you will, but they seem like an honest company).

      Their chocolate is by far the worse protein powder ive ever had. I'm pretty sure Venom is just rebranded No bull supplements which was identical even down to the packaging.

      Taste is hobbible, doesnt mix well and also have the worst protein related bowel issues ive ever had from the chocolate. Ive still got 3 KGs sitting in my cupboard i will most likely have to bin.
      Their vanilla and strawberry on the other hand both seem better on all fronts. Id rather pay twice as much for chocolate and get ON instead.

      Just make sure you don't use their Venom shaker bottle - it's terrible. The bulk nutrients shaker bottle is much more efficient.

          Oh really, maybe they changed their bottle. Bulk nutrients also had this filter thing at the top that helps break up the protein.

        got my order today this morning. I ordered 1kg chocolate wpc and a shaker and got a free 1kg wpi in banana. The shaker seems fine to me. I've used it once already and didn't get any clumpy bits at the bottom.
