Addendum:
Intel 730 SSD is actually a rebranded enterprise-class drive that was intended to be used in high performance desktops and servers, not laptops. The 730 series doesn't support any low-power states and hence idle power consumption comes in quite high at 1.34W. In comparison, a Samsung 840 Pro consumes 0.30 watts at idle, and most other drives draw 0.5 watts..
May want to bear this in mind if your device has a limited battery capacity.
