For those who want real numbers here are the bench marks. I tested the card using CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 x64.
    READ WRITE
    Seq 81.96 MB/s 74.17 MB/s
    512k 74.35 MB/s 66.11 MB/s
    4k 9.645 MB/s 2.112 MB/s
    4k QD32 12.11 MB/s 1.552 MB/s

Using A1 SD Bench from the Google Play Store the results were: R 33.01 MB/s W 15.51 MB/s. Total Available Space: 61,044 MB

Never heard of Massdrop. I never buy memory cards from non-reputable online resellers.

Massdrop is definitely reputable. The problem with them is their shipping to Australia can be pretty expensive.

There is a large difference between 'never heard of' and 'non-reputable'. Mass drop has been linked and up voted many times on this here website. They are a 'group buy' website, I've purchased a few items from them. I think they originated procuring obscure items in larger quantities for people who didn't have access to the items and have no spread to whatever they can get a good deal on.

    • Wow. You've been a member since 2010 and you've never heard of Massdrop on Ozbargain?

      • Nope :/

  • Massdrop is definitely reputable

  • I had bad experience using samsung micro sd card before. Suddendly memory card is died, and contact cust service straight away and they said it has only 6 months warranty. Wth, other brand even offer a lifetime warranty. Never again buy samsung card.

    • You are misguided about their warranty. In regards to Samsung microSD, there are many versions. Are you referring to the PRO or EVO or something else. Either way its greater than 6 months. On the pro is 10 yrs i believe and the adapter is limited to 1 yr..

If U bought a fake from eBay, that's another matter.

Problem with Massdrop is Shipping times & warranty. If you want the item per say "NOW"… pay the extra $ to get it locally. Plus warranty is definitely something to consider when buying from MASSDROP… It'll be your costs and brain cells to ship it back. I had an issue with one of my Headphone cans and it took approx 3 months till I got it back, and approx. $100 out of pocket from all the shipping costs.

I've stopped buying from there unless its something super extra cool and I am prepared to make a loss somewhere down the line (should something goes kaput).

  • Massdrop is one of those places that I usually don't buy from unless the price is really good and I don't really need them now.

Since they are expecting to ship on July 15th, add the time that it'd take to come here to get the gist of when it will arrive. (I am assuming late July to early August, maybe even mid August). That said, the price is good for this particular mSD card.

Anyways, thanks OP for sharing it :)
