        Gearbest double-charged me, they refunded it but would not refund the difference in exchange rate. I lost 10 cents, which is obviously not worth pursuing any further, but it really shows their level of customer service when they shouldn't have even double-billed in the first place.

          We are very sorry for heard this issue. The money should be pay by customer online personally, we cannot charge customer money double time. As for the exchange rate, which is charge by the bank not us. We don't charge any cost from customer.

          Well that was about 3 weeks ago, I've already gone on the trip I wanted the batteries for and returned and my package still hasn't arrived.

      I second that. they said they had posted and would reimburse if the product was not delivered. They made me go past 45 days and then refused to refund. Horrible company. Stopped buying from them completely.

      I've had better luck with Geekbuying in the past, but Gearbest wasn't that bad from my experience. Sad to hear others have not been so lucky :/

    i bought a mobile from them, they said they will deduct my money 3-5 day prior to postage. They deducted my money and for whole month they lied to me with different dates almost 5 times and in the end they said i need to pay $24 more to get this item. I paid them because i did not want to again search and order with someone else, after paying $24 and waiting 15 more days yesterday i got an email that i need to pay $10 more to get it else i can cancel my order. What ? after 1.5 month of payment they simply told me i can cancel my order.

      1. The first time 24.65USD payment is for the DHL shipping cost. Since you have changed the shipping method free shipping to DHL.

      2. The second time 10USD we asked because you changing the shipping address from country UNITED ARAB EMIRATES to PAKISTAN. Since different country have different shipping cost.

    Anyone know what the supplied power adapter would be (US plug / China plug)? Also assuming its 240v. I agree with the other comments though. Buyer beware with gearbest and be prepared to waaaaaaiiiiiitttttttt.

    Gearbest no don't do it dodgy service the last order I had the order number was dodgy there for every time you try and contact them with the order number was invalid and the email would not go through no way to contact stay clear go tinydeal or banggood

    YouTube reviews have the lamp on but other white light is providing the main illumination. Lamp looks great in this type of use - as a decorative ornament - but I don't think it would be anywhere near as useful as an actual source of pleasant lighting.

    Just got mine

    1. The lamp was sent via flat rate post and arrived via AustPost eParcel. Took around 2 weeks.
    2. Tracking was horrible if you don't know where to look. You will be given a tracking number and this number only tracked via a specific website. The website is in Chinese language mostly.
    3. The packaging was "fine". I found the boxed have a safety seal and were somewhat opened. I tested the light and they were working fine. The box arrived with minor damaged to the edge - this is expected and I'm OK.

    I did get it from GearBest and haven't had issues mentioned above. Honestly..if I had read all comments I'd not have bought the lights fearing that I might not get products. So far seems OK.

    Here comes the light
    Warning: If you ware thinking to get a few and have them controlled from your phone - it won't work. One phone is paired with 1 light only. I bought 2 and I can paired with either one only. I hope Xiaomi understands that there's 2 sides to a bed and it's a bedlamp…..

    1. The lamp came with one non-AU plug. YOu need a converter adaptor to use it. 240v is OK however.
    2. The app is, well Chinese only and if you can't read Chinese - you'll have some difficulty figuring out what each option is meant. Once you figured out, shouldn't be too difficult.
    3. There was no user manual that comes along with the lamp. The lamp is easy to use enough. There's only 2 button - one is On/Off and the other is light colour. The top of the light is touch sensitive and you can turn clock-wise or anti-clockwise to control the brightness.
    4. The official lumens at brightest is 300lms - I think is about right. But the lights is not dimmed enough to be used as a nightlight - in fact it's quite bright to be use as a night light
