  • What's the normal price?

  • needs '+ delivery'

    • noted, thanks.

  • Undercost? So you're suggesting you are losing money selling this. What rubbish.

    • let us know if you can find a better deal on this item. Topbuy is selling for $172+more expensive shipping.

      • Could you link the Topbuy one please so I can compare shipping costs? You're charging me $52 for shipping to 4870.

    • What rubbish.

What's rubbish is your comment without linking to anything cheaper or proving that it is indeed not undercost.

      • sorry. my typo. it's shopping square not topbuy.

They are base in NSW and have a better rate to QLD. I'd recommend ShoppingSquare in this case!

        • They are base in NSW and have a better rate to QLD

As postage is not flat rate and much cheaper to a lot of others, my + vote still stands. Cheers.

        • so is shoppingsquare selling them illegally?

@Dagmar You think the onus is on the buyer to prove it's NOT undercost? As a business, why on earth would you ever sell a product for less than you bought it for. There is no evidence that it's undercost. Cheers mate

        • This item is overstock now and we don't want to carry it through to summer. So had to sell undercost for EOFY sale, also hope customers will choose other items and hopefully become a return customer as well. In business, we win some and lose some too. Cheers

There is no evidence that it's undercost.

There is no evidence that it's not. It's not up to the BUYER to prove, it's up to the ACCUSER to prove.

As a business, why on earth would you ever sell a product for less than you bought it for.

During the early days of my business, I used to sell undercost on some of the more popular items in order to intice buyers into buying other products that weren't undercost.

    WHY ARE YOU SELLING IT?

    • not selling to NSW but selling to other states.

      • Then you should provide correct and clear information in your post.

        • good point! Thanks heaps , will edit now.

    • "There are several safety concerns relating to non-compliant area heaters. Their size and portability means they are easily moved around. A major risk is that they are brought indoors, which could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. Due to the element’s low height there is an increased risk of burns, especially for children, and an increased risk of clothing accidently catching alight." - http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/ftw/Consumers/Product_and_…?

I did not know these were banned in NSW… and here I thought QLD was the Nanny State. Sheesh!

      • Well I know SA and VIC don't give a stuff about safety unless it means they can raise revenue.

    • @tuzii - what is the reason why it cannot be sold in NSW?

  • +2

I really dislike clickbait titles. Will + this deal unless someone is able to provide a cheaper link.

  • $158 delivered to Melbourne - sound OK! A good deal can be killed by poor sales tactics!

  • Bunnings in WA had loads on special this week. $125 on clearance- although they were the taller ones ( I think look better anyway ) just to let people know. Might be worth a look first as I doubt these are gonna sell out that quick.

  • why cant I use these indoors;/ ?It looks pretty safe with the grill and stuff. Does it produce toxic gasses from burning the LPG ?

    • Yes, Carbon Monoxide. Kinda deadly stuff. Can be produced by any gas burning appliance including stovetops and ovens but also wood burning fireplaces either open or wood heaters but an outdoor heater like this would produce a lot more Carbon Monoxide a lot faster in an indoor environment. Yet another recent poisoning case detailed here: http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/neighbour-finds-elderly-woman-suff…
