  • Nice, ordered one pickup from my local store. Seems a good price, $159 dowm from $429 - 63% off RRP.

  • +1

Holy crap it includes tools? I was interested thinking it was just the cabinet.

Edit: cabinet is $99 at Walmart with ★★★☆☆

  • I've got one of these, good entry level cabinet, drawers are surprisingly great quality I've loaded them up with heavier tools and they do not struggle at all on their rollers, tools are simple I have Kinchrome and Sidchrome socket sets so have never used them but they don't seem bad at all… This is a great price, I paid a little less in store during a sale when I picked up the matching Stanley plastic storage cabinets..

    • How many draws do the included take up RickyCruise? I've been looking for a cabinet but not the tools..

      • might buy the tools off you if you're interested?

      • Yeah just the one mate, they are also just set in an easy to pull out plastic mould if you want to use that drawer space for something else.

  • Does that come flat packed or something? Could you pick it up in a small hatchback?

    • +1

No idea how it's packaged yet, but it doesn't seem like it would flatten that much.

Even completely assembled it should fit on the back seat if nothing else.

      • it comes in a small box, the top is packed into the bottom, its a clever way to save space, the tool set will also be in there somewhere..

        • Yes, if you look at the picture what looks like a join in the side is actually where the cabinet ends. The top part is a removable toolbox which is fitted inside the bottom drawer section when it the box. You might struggle to fit it into small boot openings but as above it'll easily go on a back seat.

Tempting offer if I didn't already have 2 of these in other brands!

    • +1

The top drawer is detachable, it's essentially a tools chest. Bottom is on rollers, it will fit on the back seats of a small hatchback, I've transported one in a corolla as reference.

    • +1

It comes in a box together, the only difference in size from the finished product is you just need to add the wheels on the bottom. As fillit said you can open the box and transport in two bits if needed

  • Compare to this one from Masters (cabinet only)

Two of the 3 reviews got it for $199 so it must go on sale regularly. And even those that bought at half price think it's pretty ordinary quality. I would definitely want to check this out in-store before I purchase based on those reviews.

  • I have one and got it for $199. Its ok for the price but yeah the quality of the cabinet is not great but its $199 including tools where a sidchrome is what $800 just for the cabinets.

    • If you want just the tools the stanley tool kit which comes up for $149 is better value. Has a breaker bar as well.

  • Only Lakemba store has stock in Sydney for click and collect.. :(

    • Would be great if they had a 2000kg set as well, but if you only have small cars then it is good value

    • The jack pack was $49 in store recently.

    • Eh those cheapo jacks can be a bit crap and have a short lift height. I have one and it couldn't even lift my car up high enough to get the jack stands under. Gave up and bought a kincrome 3 tonne model which could lifts it easy.

  • Looks like it's sold out in Sydney…

    • +1

you can still get it but have to pay postage, came up to $177.70 for me ($18.50 delivery fee)

      • You are right! I don't know why i said that misleading info :)
I completely forgot about the delivery, time for bed, brain isn't working properly…

  • No way its sold out in syd… just bought 1… there was stick everywhere.. thinking of getting another one.

  • good work but i cant find stock near me :(

  • I got one from Belconnen. They have more stock out the back

  • Is it any good? Went in store but they were all in boxes with none out on display. I am very tempted to purchase

  • These cabinets are usually 250 for the cheapest ones and they dont even inc tools.. which i would estimate are worth maybe at least 80 on their own.

  • I was a bit disappointed to learn that out of the 133pce tools, none were cable ties. Is the quality of the draws ok? Im interested in picking it up for that rather than the tools (mainly due to my disappointment that there is no cable ties)

I bought this on friday and picked it up and assembled it yesterday. The quality is quite decent and IMO is a pretty good deal with the tools. I've been waiting for more than 12 months since the last one of these deals came up and I'm happy I held out. The metal on the cabinet is thicker than I was expecting so it doesn't bend as easily if you lean on it or whatever like the really cheap ones.
