Good price but is there even any stock, I can't even see limited stock :(

Apparently there is "Limited" stock at Collins St, Melbourne.
From previous dealings with officeworks I was informed that limited means less than 10 available (still could mean none though).
It's a rort.
There is no stock anywhere and they can't order them in either.
I have a friend that works there try and order me a set last week (when they were still $388) and they can't even order them in.Apparently its a common trick from officeworks.
Sounds like an email to the ACCC is in order
If I wasn't desperate for a set this weekend I'd be going into the store and demanding they order them for me and then push from there.
The good news is I went into JB hifi today and got them to price match the $299.
In the past they've refused to match officeworks as they are known for slicing the price out of items they don't have.
The guy just quickly checked their website and said he could match it but not beat it as it's below cost. This was at Knox.Same, got jbHiFi to price match and got it for $299.

The way in which some people here on OzB go on about items not being in stock or making a big fuss over an item like this, for the sake of saving 10% is ridiculous. Go out and buy it for $329 at nearly every other retailer.
Show me a retailer in melbourne I can buy these from for $329 without price matching and I'll eat one of my own turds.

Just went to JB HI FI in Malaga, WA and they priced matched with Officeworks. No questions asked, no hesitation. Original price $399, price match price $299.
Spend another dollar at Officeworks and get all of the GST back under the TRS if travelling overseas. (Min spend for TRS is $300 at the one supplier)
