There is no carpet cleaning head included in it so i had to buy the head separately from ebay for $12.95 delivered which makes this machine a powerful vacuum for both hard and carpet floors. very happy with it….

Yeah, but this is still for regular hoovering, isn't it? I meant could I wash, wet-clean carpets with that device? It's probably one dumb question and water in this one is only to catch and filter out dust, true?
i haven't tried wet carpet cleaning yet but looks like it can handle that very easily due to its strong suction power.
Also it works both ways. As vacuum + Blower. To use it as blower you only have to attach the pipe to other end of the motor head.
wet and dry means that this unit can be used as a "normal" vacuum cleaner and for liquids. it's not a carpet cleaner like these https://www.google.com.au/search?q=carpet+cleaner&source=lnm….
These things take a flogging they keep going best bang for buck out there.they will lift your carpet plenty of suction can even be used to blow up camping beds

Am in the process of moving house and had to clean the old places carpet today. The one I borrowed from woollies was a pos and cost as much as this.
Just purchased it as a vac for the car. Does anyone know whether it comes with a small nozzle for cars or where I could possibly purchase one?
What's a small nozzle? You can do most of the car with no nozzle and use the small attachment (clearly seen in the pic) for the upholstery.
A day ago this was available via postage, but today its click and collect only and none left in SA :(
Is this thing suitable for home carpets cleaning? Careful cleaning, of course - this thing is cheap and fragile, most probably.
