Good controller. People looking for easy integration for windows, go and buy an xbox 360 controller, or a xbox one controller. Plug and play, and if you are really keen, you can download the software so that the controller shows up as 'xbox 360 controller' in game. Got mine at Umart for $25, and worked great to play Project Cars.

But the past is not right now.

So even if a product has been massively cheaper on many previous occasions, I can just post it as a deal anyway because it's the cheapest right now? If it's been cheaper in recent times, it's not a bargain.

We have price comparison sites like StaticIce for cheapest prices right now.

It's always good to see historical pricing, especially when the OP states its the cheapest they've seen.

I did not neg their post, only commented on past pricing.

Some Bargainers (not all) will wait for it to hit the cheapest price before getting an item.

I'd personally wait for the new Xbox One wireless controller.

Baring in mind it might only work on Windows 10

  • I bought one of these and have to reinstall the driver every time Win 8.1 loads, no issue with my Xbox wireless controller, something to be aware of.

These introduce unacceptable lag around 2m or so

    • Just read a few reviews that mention the poor latency. I take it the 2m is 2 metres? So the issue is reception not simply latency due to wireless?

      • im not 100& sure just that it was useless for gaming with archon (quick shoot em up)
        and fighting games
2m is 2 meters but also I have not tested interference with other devices

I don't understand why you'd buy this when the official controller is $40.

    • This controller is for those that like the Dualshock design but want the Xbox labels? I'm just talking out my butt don't mind me…

      • I have the F310. Very similar to the F710 but inferior. Still side by side with an Xbox 360 wireless controller my own preference and my son's are clear. The only thing I don't like about the XBox 360 controller is the lack of symmetry with left stick higher than right. Makes it less familiar for someone who flies remote control aircraft in mode 2.

    • plus the cost of a wireless dongle, but yes, just get a 360 or xbone controller. just about every game I own supports them with no setup whatsoever

  • Keen to look at organising the spare Xbox one controller for my son's PC as he's mentioned a controller a few times now.
So I just need to look up a wireless dongle and he's set to go? Any in particular I should look at? Totally new to this.

    • Wireless USB receivers only support Xbox 360 controllers.
Xbox One wireless controller support will probably happen sometime this year, so in the meantime any old micro USB cable will work.

On the DickSmith eBay store with the current c20extra code brings this down to around to just over $39 if you want to save a few more dollars and do a click-n-collect.
