Get yourself a bitbelt - either from Amazon or eBay - its a silicon band that goes around both parts of the band when it's clasped and stops it coming undone. Even if something does cause it to come undone, the bitbelt will hold it together. Make sure you get the correct one for the Charge.

Welcome :) I wanted something myself after my wife misplaced her fitbit one (that was in a cloth wristband) a couple of times. Found bitbelts :) There are cheaper knock-offs, but I think it's worth paying for the legit ones. I havent lost mine yet, although the glue that is holding the sides of the band to the unit is coming unstuck, which I'm a bit peeved about.
