  • The i7 laptop you linked to for under $600 delivered shows a price of $1378 which I assume is before discount. After 20% off this becomes $1102.40. Did you link to the wrong one?

    • My cashback from OO never seem to register for some reason.

      • I don't know about OO, but I always almost complete the purchase in eBay etc., then log in to the store, via cashrewards and complete the purchase in the new windows, (where the checkout will show the item in the trolley).
        Cashrewards should then go through.

        • I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct method as I have 100% success rate with eBay, Groupon, Van Heusen etc. It's only oo that I have trouble with!

  • This looks like a pretty good deal, considering the other Ozbargain deals posted for the same model, only that this is refurb and not brand new.

This looks pretty good too. Geez 13.3" and 14" laptops are getting rare..

    Another 13"

I'm not sure if it is only me or it happens to anyone else. These c***s has put a block on my account without a word of explanation. So all my orders was automatically cancelled. It was dated back from the deal error with the 20% off on gift card quite some times ago.

In the past after that gift card deal stuff up and they cancelled all the gift cards that I order (which is the case for everyone here on ozbargain), they cancelled my order once and when I called them, the girl was so rude and offer no explanation. I didn't buy anything from them until the free shipping Visa check out deal recently and again they cancelled my orders.

I emailed them asking for explanation and this time they claimed that they sent me email back then about not doing any business with me because of my abuse of the system. I have searched my email and there was no such email. These mobs are very unprofessional in the way they doing business. Even with that gift card deal, I am doing exactly as per their T&C anyway. There staff is very rude and unprofessional when talking to me.

Not so big deal not buying from them anyway, since most of their junk can be bought cheaper elsewhere.

    • Would love to see bargains posted for

      most of their junk

  • Thanks OP. I just got one of the cheap refrb i3 Toshiba's for 350 delivered! (plus the CR cashback).

    All Refubs are over priced.

    • I would agree. Only thing is I don't have enough confidence for online auctions from Graysonline…
      (http://www.graysonline.com/search.aspx?q=15.6%27%27+Toshiba+…)
I bought the 15.6'' Toshiba Satellite P50T-B01E Laptop - Refurb for the 20% off price which can not be beaten anywhere.
Also refurbs do have a 12 month warranty from the manufacturer.
A purchased good from an auction has a warranty for only 1 month.
Except for a brand new one from BEST BUY in the US only $1,049.99 (USD).
      If only they shipped here!

      • That's a buy it now not auction and hence comes with 12 month warranty. That's actually OO's graysonline listing. Anyway yeah it's a decent deal. But the one on ebay a few days ago for more than $400 cheaper after discounts was a better deal (FHD 8gb). Unless you really wanted the 4K IPS panel. I bought the P50T-B00R for my gf and it's actually a pain to set up games cos they have to run on FHD only. And a few games don't work well with scaling (runs in a black box even if you select fullscreen and have the correct scaling option). You have to do a lot of tinkering (like running in dx9 instead of dx11, etc)

A number of pretty (4 years?) old models on the list here that even still has Intel 2000 series CPU's (1st gen Sandy bridge). Wouldnt pay that price for these even with the 20% discount.

The $103.2 Sony Smartwatch 2 could be worth considering if you don't mind a last gen smartwatch that you can mod.(OO sells its for the cheapest according to staticice and also after an eBay search)

Note - it is not Android Wear compatible this watch. Runs its own software and OS with very limited amount of apps available (<100 apps). Apps are all individually run from the phone so its a memory hog if you have a low RAM device. Rather try and find the run out stock of the LG G watch for similar price (@$100) that's 1000x better than this.

      • Unfortunately you still look like a kid with a calculator watch if you use either of them for anything.

Social perceptions change with time. Pulling out an iPhone from your pocket is no different from having a programmable calculator in your top pocket back in the 90's except sheeple think iPhone's are cool now.
Nerds rule the world these days. Look at Bill and Steve for examples..

  • Nice. Thanks.

  • Did they jack up the prices? they seems to be same as the ebay prices.. and e bay had free shipping with C20EXTRA.

    • A few items are still cheaper on their ebay page

    • +1

yes they did! essteele saucepan (1.9L) was 80 something and is now 109.

        RRP $4999 :)

        • +1

          RRP is usually BS?

        • +1

@wtfnodeal: RRP is a device to skew your sense of value, in other words it's to make the price your asked for seem more attractive thanks to an automatic process in your head.

Knowing that's why it's there doesn't stop the effect nor do you have any way of determining whether you are effected.

    • Passive 3D is not good. It halves the vertical resolution by removing every second line. It's very distracting. The picture looks interlaced.

any good deals on laptop? mainly for basic use and light gaming

  • Be aware visa check out charges a fee which I couldnt see any reference too when I used it last two times is about $2

    • What is the $2 fee? Putnum also mentions it. I've never seen it and wasn't charged it on my order today. Are you paying with a non-Visa card?

    • No, it's not a fee, it's an authorisation, to check the card added to the Visa Checkout account is valid. It clears after a few days.

      • I placed an order on 1st and the fee still hasn't cleared :(

I wonder if their ipads will suddenly come back into stock after the sale… hehehe

  • +1

The item I'm interested in is $59.95 so once I take 20% off, add shipping, add the $2 visa checkout, it works out to $61.92 delivered.
