great addition for those with the Maclaren baby stroller: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/198128

  • Anyone know if this is really wireless "remote" control or it has a wire attached to the car from the remote?

    • hard to say from pics but it does say in one section 'radio controlled' so im assuming no wire ?

      • There is no mention of 'frequency' in the product description of this deal.

I checked out the seller's website for other more expensive remote control car like this https://www.hobbywarehouse.com.au/fast-car-lf08-red-lambo-rc…, and there is 40mHz is mentioned as the frequency.

I suspect this $10 one is not wireless remote control since there is no frequency mentioned.

It says Fully functional radio control unit.Control directions forwards, backwards, left and right. I guess radio is wireless :)

    • The photo of the remote shows it's one of those springy wire cordless remotes.

    • i received it today, it is wireless though the range isn't too high, maxing out at around 8 meters

Thanks OP!! I'm not sure why I bought it or who for (Have 2 kids under 4) but I'm sure It'll be a useful gift for friend/relative!

Lol even eBay falls for cheap fakes. That's not a licensed Lamborghini product (no logos), so I am pretty sure calling it Lamborghini is illegal.

(just interesting to see fakes being sold so openly, not that I care, might still buy one)

Who would be dumb enough to think this is an actual Lamborghini?

"Operating this vehicle requires the separate purchase of five AA batteries"

Finally I have a use for all those eneloops!!

    • One of those five batteries is a 9V.

Reject Shop has 1:18 scale one for $10.

    • Link?

      • Sorry I saw it an hour ago but didn't take a photo.

        • I checked on their website and couldn't find anything related to this.

I saw some at Kmart the other day on clearance for $10 - looks like an actual licensed version with the real Lamborghini logo and also a Porsche 911: http://i.imgur.com/JwX6MGF.jpg

        • Which KMART? That wouldve scored high on the front page if you hadve posted it. Do you usually take pics of items you dont buy?!

        • @rawm:
Mount Gambier, SA. Didn't know if it was a good price or not to be honest.

I took the photo to send to my girlfriend because I thought it would be fun to play with but didn't end up getting it.

Not into those button controllers, would have Def bought one if it was the analog sticks controller.

  • They've got the same one on catch for double the price excluding postage:

    • That has higher detail and built quality?

definitely wireless…the springy antenna in the pic is an actual antenna, just the cheap version…bought 1 as well…

What is this, A CAR FOR ANTS?! Good find OP!

    • Came in just to post this.

      Dammit.

Thanks op. I always wanted a replica of my real car… same colour as well…..

    😉

  • This item is definitely wireless remote control, since when remote control for these kind of toys wired?????

    • +2

They used to be wired or that terrible kind where it would only drive straight but in reverse would turn one way. 90s kid problems :P

  • I got the car yesterday but its not working. I have tried all things possible but unable to make it work. Anyone else facing similar issues?

    • Mine works fine. Chucked in the batteries and worked straight away. Have you tried different batteries etc.. Don't forget there is a little on and off switch at the bottom of the car.

      • Yes tried new batteries that i got from DS sale and ofcourse goes without mentioning about the on off button :). Nothing seems to work so far. I might raise an issue with the seller.
