These are warmer than the Adults' PolyPRO Thermals for $12 posted a week ago. So if you feel like you need to warm up this Winter, then these could be for you!

At times these go down to 2 for $50, so at $20 each these are definitely a bargain!

Do these have any kind of anti-stink additive like Patagonia capilene?

Is this online only? Or can you go in-store as well?

In store too. Can always buy online and get some cashback while you're at it then collect in store

      • If you buy less than 100 then go pickup, cheaper than cash bavk

  • Confirming these are available in-store as well, unless out of stock.
Got a bunch of the cheaper ones for an upcoming family snow trip. Previously posted here

  • what are these like for skiing ? apparently the poly pros were not great because they were not breathable.

    Are these any better ?

  • FYI - the CR cashback on this is 4.8%. Certainly worth it.
They have nearly 500 items in their winter/thermals range that are between 25-75% off (some are in clearance so YMMV).
I have a local store so will be trying on some pieces tomorrow for sure.

There is V2 and V3 in Thermaplus. I assume V3 is the warmer one.

I'll wait for half price on Ultracore. It's the one with silver anti-stink particles and silver actually works.

What are the warmest thermals on the market? I'm too cheap to turn on the heater while my wife is away and I'm home alone but my current thermals aren't cutting it in Canberran winter.

    • Jeez you're game. I'm anti-heater too- haven't turned one on since 1989- but it hardly ever gets below 10' here. Don't think I could keep the run going if it got to -5.

    • It looks like Under Armour Base 4.0 leggings and top might be the way to go but man they're expensive T_T

  • Nice
Missus and I bought 2 in the shop over the weekend for $50. Sneaky Kathmandu hehe.

Does anybody know how much warmer this is compared to Uniqlo's heattech?

    • +2

I have both the Kathmandu Thermaplus long sleeve thermal top (RRP $49.98, but a rare $20 on this deal) and the Uniqlo Heattech long sleeve tee (RRP $19.90, currently $14.90 on sale).

The Kathmandu Thermaplus is thicker and warmer and I also like that it is more form-fitting. At these prices, the Kathmandu Thermaplus is better value in my opinion, and also the cheapest I've seen it.

      • Uniqlo also has a range called Heattech Extra Warm, which they say is 1.5 times warmer than regular Heattech, but I have no experience with those.

        • Yea, I saw that on the Uniqlo site. But these Kathmandu one's are cheaper after the discount!

      • Thanks for your insight Melb. I'll most probably get it as I'll be heading to cold Queenstown in 2 weeks.

  • Are these good to keep warm for swimming this winter guys?

I bought all the men's medium size top and Johns at Parramatta, all 12 of them. Ahaha.

    • goon on you. you took my leftovers from couple of days ago.

  • I have ordered over $400 of Thermaplus for the family. Thanks OP!

  • Just picked up my order today.

Ended up ordering just one of the v3 Thermaplus online.

Feels great to the touch, but haven't worn it yet, as while I was in store I checked out the Ultracore, which were 2 for $60 (with the Summit Club card).

Tried on the ultracore and I could tell right away that it would do a good job at keeping me warm throughout the night when I'm at work, so I ended up buying 2 of those as well (got one on now, they're damn good).

Thanks Op for posting this deal, I'd of been unaware of it otherwise, as I tend to avoid Kathmandu (their RRPs are too high for my budget).
