  • Hi Rep any deals on Dark roast?

    • If you want to purchase this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/201330 and leave a note in Paypal then I can swap out the Colombian for some dark roasted coffees I roasted in the last couple of days!? :-)

  • I hate you now. I bought beans from you TWO days ago . OF course it was my fault for bad timing.
I'll have to pay more attention. My wife absolutely went bananas over the Aceh single origin so we had to have more.

    • Haha, sorry! Try to mix it up a bit. Glad to hear your wife enjoyed the beans :-)

  • Glad to see that you guys are still oz bargaining. Hope that you will have some killer deal in late October so I can finally get a friend to bring me a few bags to the U.S. Seriously, this is definitely one of my "homesicknesses".

    • Hey, good to hear from you. Hope things are going well for you out there!

No problem just shoot me an email when your friends heading out and I'll roast you some of my personal favourites ;-)

  • I really have to juggle my dates!
Just about to open a 1kg bag of Nicaragua Maragogype Superior Microlot, and that's good for a bit over 3 weeks.
I want beans roasted as close as possible to the dispatch date, so need to check your expiry date on the deal.
It's the 23rd, so ordering on the 22nd gets the new order to me just in time as the old bag runs out.
Now, if you were only in Adelaide…..

    • Had heaps of friends around yesterday, and they loved the Maragogype.

  • Hi

It`s my first time ordering and want to know expected delivery to Sydney (Ordered on Friday 10th). Thank You

What? Manna didn't answer? It's generally three days - one to roast one to travel and one to deliver….By my count you should get your beans Tuesday - but their tracking advice system is pretty reliable - you'll get a delivery warning then an "it's on the truck" advice then an it's just been delivered advice too (just in case something goes wrong?)

      • Thank You !

      • Thank you for replying. and my apologies for not getting back to you earlier.

I've had it delivered to my house in Geelong in under 24 hours from ordering… pretty impressive

    • Welcome aboard :-) Hope you enjoy the coffee!

Aeropressed the geisha sample today. You may have destroyed affordable coffee for me.

How much is my next hit going to cost? Is the price coming down as more places plant it?

    • Glad to hear that you are enjoying :-) Most geisha coffees get pretty expensive and they are one of what we call the ancient plants. These plants are some of the originals and due to lower yields and higher maintenance required to grow they can get pretty expensive

This particular geisha is fairly cheap as far as they go but most of my high end Geishas are from Panama and Costa Rica. Normally costing me over a hundred dollars per kg as green.

I have some new geishas landing today actually so pretty excited to try and will be available on our website soon.

Are you drinking this black? I can also shoot through some recommendations for some beautiful coffees which are beautiful as a black filter coffee but don't carry the price tag as some of the high end geishas if you interested!?

      • Yes black. I aeropress at work and have an espresso machine at home. I usually aeropress whatever I am using at home as my work consumption is about 1/10 of the home consumption.

Interested as to what you recommend for the aeropress. That said, this is ozbargain, so I will probably keep buying the deals when I need more coffee. I am always interested in the recommended use though.

PS. are the Geisha beans a bit harder? I noticed that I had to work the hand grinder a bit more that my previous batch of coffee.

  • Just got the delivery today. Can't wait to try the geisha coffees ^^
    Thanks for the great deal.

  • Love your coffee. Not sure if 2x 480g packs are achievable for $35. I tend to use 500g per 3 weeks.
