don't link directly to the .exe download.

  • Goes to .exe file

I'd rather download an exe file from the official site tyvm

  • No info on both Trend Micro or SanDisk websites. Very suspicious! Don't click anything!

Downloaded it, tried to install but

"Thanks so much for your interest in the Trend Micro Titanium AV+ app, but it is not available in your region."

As this product is very basic Anti-virus, I recommend that you get other FREE Anti-virus programs rather than this one.

BTW, The .exe doesn't show as a threat on my laptop.

      • My trial version of AVG had just expired. Any good recommendation?

        Cheers.

        • Just sharing my experience with Anti-virus programs, I'm not trying to sell or promote any brand here.

I recommended FREE Anti-virus such as Avast, Avira or BitDefender Free.

          • I'm happy using Avira because it doesn't slow my laptop down. Its detection rate is very good, although comes with more false positives.

          • BitDefender Free doesn't have any option so it blocks some of my programs and I have no idea how to configure it to unblock them.

          • Avast is very easy on resource but, for some reasons, it causes the "blue screen" error and forces my Windows 8.1 laptop to restart.

Best anti-virus products should be the paid ones such as BitDefender, Kaspersky, etc. If you can afford them, just go with them for better protection.

        • @721411: I'm with Bitdefender

        • I got nice deal for Bitdefender 3 users from http://www.anti-virus4u.com/
runs fine on my Win 7 and 8.1 pc's

Sorry. You already knew about this deal!

  • "Thanks so much for your interest in the Trend Micro Titanium AV+ app, but it is not available in your region."

    • You can report the deal instead of neg voting it.

      • If I reported it, the worst that will happen is this deal being removed, which means somebody else could put it back up not knowing the problems with it.

So with problem deals like these, it is better to neg it than to trouble the mods and have all these comments removed.

          • If someone's gonna post this deal again, no matter what happens here, they'll just do it.

          • Neg votes are for bad deals and/or disreputable stores, etc. This deal is not a bad deal, it's just not available in Australia.

          • Mods know what to do because that's their job. I have reported this deal before as for another reason so now I can't do it again. If you can help, please report this deal.

BTW, you can try Free 9 Months Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 from Softpedia.

          Cheers!
