I've bought a couple of these and they are quite useful for wandering around in summer. I wanted a water bottle that could be folded up/rolled up to carry in my bag but was rigid enough to standup on its own and this meets the criteria. Certainly worth a look if you are at Kathmandu. It only comes in pink.
You don't need a rigid bottle for it to be able to stand - just depends on how they've designed the base. Vapur (anti) bottles for example are not rigid like this one so take up even less space, and can also stand by itself. Got some last time for a too good to be true price ie. turned out to be counterfeits.

I've bought a couple of water bottles like the Vapur ones but they don't seem to dry out as well as this one and they aren't as stable. This device rolls up to quite a small footprint because of its flexibility; it fits into my relatively crowded bum bag. However, personal preferences.
