  • They currently have a free delivery for purchases over $500
EDIT: But this ends today :(

  • Can you use the voucher in store?

    • I believe vouchers can be used on the self-serve checkouts

      • May I ask how?

Edit: Let me rephrase, do we need a barcode so we can scan or is there a place to put in the voucher code?

        • In woolworths self checkout select eGiftcard as payment method. Then use eftpos terminal to enter store giftcard number and pin. This must work in Masters as well, haven't tried.

        • +1

@AshFon: its not a gift card though and there is no pin.

        • +2

Download and print the voucher here to redeem in store

        • +1

You don't even need the printout. Go to the Master self checkout and start scaning your stuff. Press the "Enter item number" button at the bottom of the screen, and enter the barcode 9353001115954. Verify the item prices to see if the discount applied. Done.

There's a crossover period! Go go go!

      • any idea how long it takes for the WISH e-Gift cards to be delivered when purchased through Entertainment book ?

        • I use the 5%off deal regularly (Cashrewards.com though)

After placing the order the voucher comes to my inbox in 2-3 hours max.

Not sure if Masters carry this but..? http://imgur.com/X0ejc90

        • No such thing as a chain saw that's too big ;p

In saying that - make sure you get a good one. I have got a bottom end Husqvarna and love it.

        • @shaiguy:

I bought a 52cc 24 inch blade monster from Baumr-AG (chinese rubbish). It cost me a round $200 from memory, and I can't fault it. Loads of power and hasnt put a foot wrong. Maybe a little more vibration than a better branded one.

For the 'equivalent' branded chainsaw they are closer to $1000. I would recommend something similar for a casual home user that wanted some grunt. Probably not professional use, as I am not sure about durability above what I have used mine for. Having said that, you could buy 5 and just throw them away when they break :)

    • Chainsaw is dangerous tools. Lots of people get injured every year. Cheap one have lots of kick-back and chains fly out easily. Some got extremely hot after a min of use. I don't recommend using it unless you know exactly necessary. It can't do precise cut anyway.

    • If your buying a cheap one for home use electric are better value for your dollar imo. They are lighter, quieter and have less to go wrong with them. Match with a long outdoor extension cable and your set. If you look for one with autochainstop that will limit the damage if you make a mistake using it. It seperates the drive mech from the chain when you release the trigger.

  • Does anyone have any one of these?

Are they any good for $35? It's just for a small room.

    • Side comment - "Hot Buy" - hahahahahaha

    • those small ceramic heater is useless…I find even some target/kmart one give out more heat…

    • +1

i have one, it is not very good

EDIT: One I have is arlec (though looks identical), got it from bunnings & it was around $30 from memory + also 1800W. Still wouldn't recommend it

You'd be better off with a small oil heater, switch it on and leave it on. I got the larger one with a timer and thermostat etc, set and forget it…

  • Great, I need some items from Masters and was planning a trip this weekend, I order online and collect on Saturday, Thanks OP !

  • Time to get a corded drill. Does anyone here have any recommendations for a good drill driver?

  • Fantastic I was waiting for one to come out.
Went to do click and collect but alas they have increase the item I wanted from $65.00 to $75.00. The item wasn't on special originally just a random increase on an item, I wonder what the excuse would be?

Can u get a price match with 10 percent off .. and then apply this 10 percent of on top also?

    • I asked same question to a Rep on-line yesterday, and he said no, however, it is not written anywhere that you can't. SO to be fair, we should all be able to do this. Can you please check with your local store and write back the response here?

I did this exact same thing when I got a similar 10% off offer the other week. Nearest Masters in Braybrook, VIC had a F&P F/L Washing Machine for $1050. They price matched to Appliances Online and brought it down to $880 with no issues. I also queried that Appliances Online offer free delivery and they agreed to that as well.

Then I presented my 10% voucher and asked for another 10%. I initially got told no as it doesnt apply to appliances but this voucher called out that did. So then the staff member said that it was a one or the other offer in terms of price match or voucher. I didn't argue as such but called out that Price Match was part of their customer charter and not specifically an offer.

In the end she pottered off and came back 2 mins later saying she was going to honour it. She agreed that the voucher didn't explicitly call out a one or the other offer being accepted and so she told her manager she was going to allow it.

May not work for all but I got it honoured so the washing machine came down to $800 delivered.

        • Thank you Jollster101. If you don't mind me asking, which machine did you get (Model No)? I am also in the market for a Front loader.

        • To add a further example, back when they were offering $15 gift cards per $100 spent. I purchased a tv mount, price matched bunnings less 10%, and then receieved the gift card on top

  • Good to know Masters does price matching and does price match even if it is an online store.

Went the other day at JBhifi about price matching Appliance Online washing machine.. they could not price match instead they can only give the lowest price they can and then wants to charge additional $85 for delivery and removal of old washing machine

Looks like jbhifi does not have policy to beat prices form other stores.

Been waiting all winter for the appliances to be included in the 10%, bought a Baumatic condenser dryer $599 but the stock management at masters is awful. Got the run around all day with the original click +collect location Bibra Lake WA realising they have none in stock, told me Forrestdale have 7 then said they had none either. Finally found some in Mandurah(!) so the 125km round trip will eat into the potential savings. They offered to bring it to Bibra Lake but were very vague on timescale.

  • Is 909 Lawn mower any good? It is currently on clearance too. I was told it has 909 days Warranty.

    https://www.masters.com.au/product/100501937/909-40cm-135cc-…

    • Personally I bought this
Good brand, and when compared to that 909 it's wider and has more power.

  • Just ask and they give you 10% in-store.

  • Patio heater for $89.10 ain't bad at all.

  • At 11:15pm on Sunday night in Perth the code didn't work for me.
It was still Sunday in Perth and it would have been 1:15am Monday morning on the East coast.
The code should have technically worked for my sale if the promotion said Thurs - Sun.
